Shrini Deewana - Poems Poetry Series Shrini Deewana - poems - Publication Date: 2009 Publisher: Poemhunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive Shrini Deewana(November 1,1965) Hi, I am born and brought up in Mumbai in a traditonal Tamil Brahmin family. Right from my school days I am keen and avid reader of Hindi Poems. I have been hooked to write hindi poem after having read a poem called 'Koshish karne waalon ki kabhi haar nahin hoti' which has been written by Shri. Harivanshrai Bachchan. After having read this poem I was also inspired to write poem and started trying to write poems in Hindi. I have kept the nickname of Shrini 'Deewana' for all my writings. With every poem I am trying to improve myself and my language. In case if there is any error in my language I shall sincerely request the readers to forgive me for the same. Since there is provision for Hindi fonts I am giving all my poems in Hinglish. Kindly bear with me for the same. Kavitaon ke saagar mein hum to bas ek tinka hai magar, Koshish hamari jaari hai bas aage hi badthe jaane ki, Bas aap logon se ek hi guzaarish mein karta hoon, Padthe rahiye sab lekh meri aur galati koi nazar aaye to, Bata dena woh galati mujhko, Is maha kavya ke saagar mein, ek tinke ke jeene ke liye, Tumahaare sahare ke hi zaroorat hai, Mujhe aage badthe rehane ke liye. www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 1 A Lonely Heart It’s always said that Days are bright and the nights are dark, I will say it all depends on the feelings of your heart, When you are cheerful Day & Night are bright When you are sad even a Sunny day seems to be Dark. When you are with your love it’s always bright, When you miss your love it’s always dark, No matter whether its day or night, It all depends on the feelings of your heart. Love is the light that makes your life bright, When you miss the light its darkness for your sight, No matter whether its day or night, It all depends on the feelings of your heart. At times love understands your plight, At times it thinks you are just to begin a fight, The plight of heart of a lonely soul, Who will understand better than your beloved? Oh my love, before you blame or say its fight, Just think what’s the plight that leads to fight, A missing heart does not deserve the blame, It needs your love to burn in as flame. Burn the flame of desire in your lovers’ heart, Understand the plight of your lovers’ heart, Just give your love and see how the heart jumps in joy, Just treat it as a heart and not just a playing toy. Once the lonely heart is filled with your love, The darkness of heart will see a light so bright, No matter whether its day or night, A joyful heart is just always bright. Shrini “Deewana” Shrini Deewana www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 2 Aao Chaand Mein Ghar Basaye Mohabbat mein to kehate hai sab mein tod laoonga chand bhi, Lekin mein kehata hoon sanam chalo hum ghar basaye chaand mein, Socho zara kaisa hoga woh aalam jab chaand mein hoga apna ghar, Jahan koi na ho dushman mohabbat ke aur na humko kisi ka hai darr. Sochta hoon mein sanam kaisa hoga apna ghar chaand mein, Jahan par honge sirf mein aur tum aur koi na honge humein taakne, Socho zara kaisa hoga woh alam jab rahenge hum ek duje ke baahon mein, Kaisa hoga sanam woh alam jahan honge na koi dushman pyaar ke. Duniya ke liye to aati hai mahine mein ek din amavas ki raat bhi, Lekin sanam hamare jeevan mein phir kabhi amavas ki raat hi na aayegi, Har raat apne hogi punam ki jab humtum madhosh ho jayenge, Bas ek duje ke baahon mein lete hum prem ke geet gun gunayenge. Socho zara kya sochenge duniya wale jab woh dekhenge chand ko ek chand mein, Chand bhi sharma jaayegi sanam dekh kar chand sa mukda tera, Taare sab kehate rahenge na jaane kahan chali gayee hamare roshni, Roshni hamari ghum ho gayee hai jab se chand mein aayee hai chand si ek pari. Humko abhi na zarurat hai holi ki na zarurat hai humein diwali ki, Bas agar zarurat hai kisi ki to woh hai ek duje ke saat ki, Jab tum rahoge saath mere har din hogi mere holi aur diwali ki, Bas sanam tera saath jo mile to mein samjhoonga meri kismat khil gayee. Shrini Deewana www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 3 Aap Ke Aane Ke Baad AAP KE AANE KE BAAD Khushiyaan aayee hai zindagi mein aap ke aane ke baad, Muskurahat aayee hai chehere pe aap ke aane ke baad, Kehane ko to zindagi hum bhi jee rahe the pehale se magar, Zindagi jeene ka mazaa aaya hai aap ke aane ke baad. Dil to dhadak thi thi mere janam se hi magar, Har dhadkan mein aap ka naam hai aap ke aane ke baad, Pyaar ishq aur mohabbat ke baatein sune the hum bhi magar, Mohabbat kya hai yeh samjh paya hoon aap ke aane ke baad. Saagar ka ek kinara to pehele se hi tha mein magar, Duje kinaare ko dekh paaya hoon mein aap ke aane ke baad, Hum dono ke beech ki jo yeh doori hai yeh sirf saagar nahin, Yeh saagar bhi ab mohabbat ho chuki hai aap ke aane ke baad. Saagar ki har leharen pehele sirf ret laati thi mujh tak magar, Ab yeh leharein mohabbat ka paigam lati hai aap ke aane ke baad, Raat jagne ka koi shauk nahin tha mujhe pehele magar, Ab neendh hi nahin aati hai humein aap ke aane ke baad. Aankhon se pehele bhi kabhi chalka karte the aansoon magar, Yeh aansoon bhi ab moti ho gayee hai aap ke aane ke baad, Pehele jo chalakte the woh to sab the aansoon gham ke magar, Ab yaadon ki aansoon chalakne lagi hai aap ke aane ke baad. Jab miloonga tumhein, pehanaoonga tumhein un motiyon ki mala, Jo banaya hai maine aasoonon se jo aayee hai aap ke aane ke baad, Tab tum jaan paaogi kitne aasoon chalke hai mere aankhon se, Jo chalaki hai yaadon mein sirf aap ke aap ke aane ke baad. Aisa ek pal bhi nahin hoga jab yaad teri na satati ho humein, Na jaane itna dil kyon tadapti hai ab aap ke aane ke baad, In tadap ko mein apne dil se nikaloon to nikaloon kaise, Mera dil to mere bas mein hi nahin hai aap ke aane ke baad. Kehane ko to pehele bhi hum likthe the magar, Mere lekh mein jaan aayee hai aap ke aane ke baad, www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 4 Mohabbat ke bahut se daastan padhe hai humne magar, Ab khud apne mohabbat ki daastan banaya hai aap ke aane ke baad. Kal tak log Laila Majnu ka naam lete the mohabbat ki baatein karne, Kal woh hamari tumahari mohabbat ki baatein karenge, Mohabbat ki aag dil mein lag gayee hai hamare tumhare, Yeh sab kuch hua hai bas aap ke aane ke baad. SHRINI “DEEWANA” Shrini Deewana www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 5 Agar Tum Naa Aate Mere Jeevan Mein Yeh to ab soch ke bhi dil ghabratha hai sanam, Tum agar na aati mere jeevan mein to mera kya hota, Kaise milta mujhe itna saara pyaar jo paya hoon tujhse, Mere chehre ki muskurahat na jaane kahan chupa hota. Zindagi bas jee rahe the hum jeene ke liye, Zindagi kya hai yeh samjha hoon jab se paya hoon tumhein, Yeh to ab soch ke bhi dil ghabratha hai sanam, Tum agar na aati mere jeevan mein to mera kya hota, Jo pyaar lutaya hai tune mujhpe woh bhala koi aur kya luta pata, Tarasthi thi jeevan meri bas pyaar paane ko, Khush naseeb hoon mein jo paya hoon sacha pyaar tera, Yeh to ab soch ke bhi dil ghabratha hai sanam, Tum agar na aati mere jeevan mein to mera kya hota, Tu hi meri jeevan hai aur tu hi hai mere dil ki dhadkan, Tere bina ab jeevan ke ek pal bhi mujhe jeena manzur nahin, Yeh to ab soch ke bhi dil ghabratha hai sanam, Tum agar na aati mere jeevan mein to mera kya hota. Mere malik ai khuda shukra guzaar hoon mein, Aisa ek pyaar jo mere jeevan mein laya hai tune, Bas dua hai mere ab ek baar tu mujhe mila de us se, Jisne nyochar kiya hai jeevan mein itna pyaar mera. Shrini 'Deewana' Shrini Deewana www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 6 Anjaan Shehar Anjaan shehar anjaan safar manzil ka na koi thikana hai, Chahe katin ho raahein magar mujhko chalte hi jaana hai, Na jaane kahan le jaayegi jeevan yeh maine nahin jaana hai, Aise anjaan safar mein bhi humdum tera yaad bahut suhana hai. Chahe jo bhi shehar mein rahata hoon teri yaad bahut satati hai, Kabhi yaad mere tere oh dilbar ashkon ki lehar beha jaati hai, Use rokna chahoon to bhi nahin rukthi woh to behate hi jaati hai, Aansoon ke har ek boond mein sanam teri tasveer nazar aa jaati hai Tujhe yaad kiye bina sanam mujhko neendh kabhi nahin aati hai, Neendh bhi chain ki hoti nahin khawabon mein tu roz satati hai, Jab bhi dekhoon tujhe mein khawabon mein ek muskaan chaa jaati hai, Tere ek jhalak paate hi sanam dil mein sukoon ki lehar chaa jaati hai.

The original texts include religious epics, Shakespeare’s plays, Bengali novels which were written pre- independence, and Hollywood films. This venture uses adaptation theory as well as postmodernist and postcolonial theories to examine how women and men are represented in the adaptations as well as how contemporary audience expectations help to create the identity of the characters in the films.

  • Responses to 100 Best Acts Post-2009-10-11 (For Reference)
Bobbytalkscinema.Com Responses/ Comments on “100 Best Performances of Hindi Cinema” in the year 2009-10-11. submitted on 13 October 2009 bollywooddeewana bollywooddeewana.blogspot.com/ I can't help but feel you left out some important people, how about Manoj Kumar in Upkar or Shaheed (i haven't seen that) but he always made strong nationalistic movies rather than Sunny in Deol in Damini Meenakshi Sheshadri's performance in that film was great too, such a pity she didn't even earn a filmfare nomination for her performance, its said to be the reason on why she quit acting Also you left out Shammi Kappor (Junglee, Teesri MANZIL ETC), shammi oozed total energy and is one of my favourite actors from 60's bollywood Rati Agnihotri in Ek duuje ke Liye Mala Sinha in Aankhen Suchitra Sen in Aandhi Sanjeev Kumar in Aandhi Ashok Kumar in Mahal Mumtaz in Khilona Reena Roy in Nagin/aasha Sharmila in Aradhana Rajendra Kuamr in Kanoon Time wouldn't permit me to list all the other memorable ones, which is why i can never make a list like this bobbysing submitted on 13 October 2009 Hi, As I mentioned in my post, you are right that I may have missed out many important acts. And yes, I admit that out of the many names mentioned, some of them surely deserve a place among the best. So I have made some changes in the list as per your valuable suggestion. Manoj Kumar in Shaheed (Now Inlcuded in the Main 100) Meenakshi Sheshadri in Damini (Now Included in the Main 100) Shammi Kapoor in Teesri Manzil (Now Included in the Main 100) Sanjeev Kumar in Aandhi (Now Included in Worth Mentioning Performances) Sharmila Togore in Aradhana (Now Included in Worth Mentioning Performances) Sunny Deol in Damini (Shifted to More Worth Mentioning Performances) Mehmood in Pyar Kiye Ja (Shifted to More Worth Mentioning Performances) Nagarjun in Shiva (Shifted to More Worth Mentioning Performances) I hope you will approve the changes made as per your suggestions.
