Thanks to the amazing generosity of our All Saints Catholic School community, we collected items to make 48 hygiene bundles and 48 clothing bundles to benefit ArborWoman for our service project during Catholic Schools Week.

Ms. Pacente’s class helped to collect the donations by gathering the items from classrooms. Mrs. Werner’s 6th graders enjoyed organizing the bundles and preparing them for delivery.

Each hygiene bundle contains baby soap, a hooded towel, washcloths, diaper ointment, and a digital thermometer. Each clothing bundle contains an outfit, socks, a hat, and three sleep-n-plays. In addition, All Saints collected almost 1,500 diapers and will be giving a monetary donation of around $1,000. Thank you for your incredible support! Highlights of Catholic Schools Week

Mrs. Whalen’s 6th grade language arts classes performed a reader’s theater version of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” for the 3rd grade classes this week. Both grades study Ancient Rome and Julius Caesar as a historical figure.

Mrs. Werner’s 6th grade science classes simulated the plasticity of the Earth’s mantle. Students observed a model of the part of the mantle that is called the asthenosphere. This model will help students’ understanding of the way tectonic plates move around because this layer is able to flow. Using cornstarch and water to simulate the asthenosphere, students observed that it has properties of both a solid and a liquid.

Mrs. Smith’s 5th graders concluded their study of “Don Quixote” by re-enacting scenes from the book. The students enjoyed bringing the literature to life in class.

Mr. Arnould’s 4th graders invited Mrs. Detweiler’s 2nd graders to sing Mass songs and learn hand motions with them as part of Catholic Schools Week activities. www.allsaintscs.com www.facebook.com/allsaintscs Blue Thunder News www.ascsathletics.com Basketball Results Saturday, February 1, 2020

www.allsaintscs.com www.facebook.com/allsaintscs All SAintS CAtholiC SChool Growing Leaders in Body, Mind, and Spirit Partners In Faith Referral Program All Saints Catholic School wants to reward you for promoting our school to your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Current All Saints’ students and parents are by far our best ambassadors, sharing positive experiences through simple word of mouth. Our referral program rewards current families with a one-time $1,500 tuition credit for each new family they get to enroll at All Saints Catholic School.

Here’s How It Works:

• This referral program is open to all families with kindergarten through 8th grade students enrolled at All Saints Catholic School.

• Complete the “Current Family” portion of the form below, detach it, and give it to the new family interested in All Saints Catholic School.

• Have the new family complete their portion of this form and submit it with their completed new student admission application.

• For each new kindergarten through 8th grade family that enrolls at All Saints and submits this completed form, a $1,500 tuition credit will be awarded to the current family. To qualify for this incentive, the new family/student cannot have a sibling currently or previously enrolled at All Saints. Tuition credit is good for one-year.

With your assistance, we can continue to build our school community with families who, like you, realize the value of a Catholic education.

This incentive program is only valid for the first year the new family attends ASCS. Any current ASCS family that is past due on their tuition/fees will have their incentive applied toward any owed tuition/fees. Families who pay tuition in full, prior to school year starting, will receive a check. " Current Family New Family
