The Dollar Loan Center is in Henderson, NV, just seven miles from Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport and nine miles from Mandalay Bay, the site of the 2021 Big West Basketball Championships. Nestled in the southern rim of the Las Vegas Valley, Henderson stretches east of Boulder Highway to just east of Interstate 15. The Dollar Loan Center is located just south of the 215 Beltway on the east side of So. Green Valley Parkway and is easily accessible from all regions of Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley via the Beltway. It complements the already robust retail offerings at The District at Green Valley Ranch, one of Henderson’s key dining, shopping and entertainment destinations surrounded by neighborhoods whose residents are frequent patrons of all the area’s amenities. When does Dollar Loan Center open? The $84 million, 6,000-seat Dollar Loan Center will be completed in early 2022. The 2022 Big West Basketball Championships presented by the Hawaiian Islands will be the first publicly ticketed event in the arena. The Dollar Loan Center is home to the Henderson Silver Knights, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, the Vegas Indoor Football League franchise and the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame. How long is the agreement between Dollar Loan Center and the Big West? Dollar Loan Center will be home to the Big West Basketball Championships for at least the next three years. The Championships will be contested over a period of five days from Tuesday, March 8 to Saturday, March 12, 2022. What is the bracket format of the Big West Basketball Championships? The bracket will feature 10 teams on both the men’s and women’s side vying for the Conference championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. The action begins on Tuesday, March 8 with two men’s and women’s first round games. The women’s four quarterfinal matchups will be played on Wednesday, March 9. The men’s quarterfinals take place on Thursday, March 10. The men’s and women’s semifinals will be played Friday, March 11 and the championship games will be held Saturday, March 12.
