GM Honored For Company’s Ethical Business Practices GM has received an honor no other automaker in the world has been able to achieve. The company was recognized by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2020 World’s Most Ethical Companies, said GM spokeswoman Jessica James. GM is one of only four hon- orees in the automotive industry and the only automotive original equipment manufacturer, James said. The other three companies are suppliers Aptiv, CooperStan- dard and Cummins. In 2020, 132 honorees were recognized span- ning 21 countries and 51 indus- Mary Barra tries, James said.
