India’s national carrier says hack leaked passengers’ data NEW DELHI – Personal data of an unspecified number of travellers has been compromised after a company that serves India’s national carrier was hacked, Air India said. The hackers were able to access ten years’ worth of data including names, passport and credit card details from the Atlanta-based SITA Passenger Service System, Air India said in a statement Friday. It disclosed the scale of the breach nearly three months after it was first informed by the IT provider. The breach that happened in late February had compromised the data of some major global airlines, too. SITA at that time had said that Singapore Airlines, New Zealand Air and Lufthansa were among those affected. 2 dead, 12 injured in shooting at New Jersey house party FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A family house party in South Jersey turned into a crime scene where at least two people were fatally shot and 12 others were wounded, state police said. Authorities arrived at the house in Fairfield Township, about an hour out- side of Philadelphia, late Saturday night. A resident who runs a local anti-violence organization said he was called out to assist families at the 90s-themed party. John Fuqua, of Life Worth Living, said guests who attended the party were of all ages. New Jersey State police said a 30-year- old man and 25-year-old-woman were fatally shot. There were 12 other people who were injured and transported to local hospitals. No arrests have been made. Photos show overturned pop-up party tents, tables and chairs, and debris throughout the home’s yard. A long driveway was still filled with cars late Sunday morning. Two cousins who live in the area of the shooting said they heard music from the party until after midnight, then a series of shots – at least 15 of them over a few minutes. Joeron Pierce and James Pierce, who live in homes next to each other, said that there was chaos after that. Partygoers ran through their yards and asked to come into their houses. Tim Cook appears on the stand in Epic legal row APPLE boss Tim Cook took the witness stand for the first time in his company’s major legal battle with Epic Games over an alleged monopoly. Epic, maker of the hit video game Fortnite, claims Apple’s tight control over iPhone apps hurts competition. During his appearance, Cook argued that keeping control of the App Store helped keep iPhones secure. He also said he did not know if the App Store made a profit, telling the court Apple did not break down the figures. Facing questions about the level of profit the App Store generates from the 30 per cent commission it takes on sales, he said: “We don’t have a separate profit and loss statement for the App Store.” Instead, he said that he had a “feeling” that it was profitable – but could not share figures with the court. Cook was being questioned about his oversight of top-level decisions around the App Store’s policies. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers also questioned Cook, asking about a survey that showed 39 per cent of developers are dissatisfied with the app store. The Dutchman controlled the race after pole-sitter Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari broke down before the start. Hamilton finished in seventh place, frustrated and angry after Mercedes’s pre- race plans fell apart. He lost places to two drivers over the pit- stop period as Mercedes reversed their intended strategy. Adding to a bad day for the world champions, Hamilton’s team-mate Valtteri Bottas retired when mechanics were unable to remove his right-front wheel at his pit stop when the wheel gun stripped the nut. Bottas was running second to Verstappen but had been losing ground before his stop and his hopes of victory had evaporated and turned into concerns as to whether he could protect second place from Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard finished in a comfortable Bottas’ front-left wheel could not be released. runners-up spot, with McLaren’s Lando Norris taking the final podium place, coupled with a bad day for Mercedes, final lap before the Ferrari driver crashed radio to say he was having gearbox fending off late pressure from Red Bull’s moved the Red Bull driver into a four- and brought the session to an end. problems. P R O HOROSCOPES S A ARIES: It will be impossible to persuade someone you N are joining forces with to see things the way you do. You D might wish you had not begun this partnership. Their mood is awkward and uncooperative and you may have C to have a complete change of tactics. At home, there is O plenty to do. N S TAURUS: If suddenly you feel like doing something in a different way, try it. Normally you are very organised and methodical. This helps you feel in control and it works for you because it gets the job done. Even so this can leave little room for manoeuvre. Experimenting with a different approach could be fun.

GEMINI: A clipped message is direct and to the point. Z People will try to pick apart every word of a short I statement in their effort to read between the lines. You can T see how some are allowing their imaginations to run riot S and are seeing more in these words than is actual there.

CANCER: A short text message from an old friend or relative concerns you. It is difficult to pinpoint why you feel this way but you sense they aren’t saying it all. If you suspect someone is hiding something from you, it might be worth giving them a call. You will get a better impression about what is going on from the tone of their voice. R E LEO: Don’t let a recent success go to your head. At work X or in a study situation, overconfidence could result in a silly mistake. This could undo all your recent M achievements so tread with caution. Money talk makes O you a little uncertain. Job matters and chores that get you R out and about will be where you feel most comfortable. G A VIRGO: You will stay practical, calm and in control to N keep on top of an awkward situation. Mix ups and misunderstandings can be resolved if you approach these matters with cool determination. Leave a colleague or housemate to get into a flap if that’s the way they have to be. You can manage very well without them.

LIBRA: Now is a good time to blow your own trumpet. P You have plenty reason to feel proud of the results of your H recent endeavours. You also have reason to be angry with A someone who is trying to take credit for your N achievements. Don’t be reluctant to set the record straight. T O SCORPIO: You know that plans made today are going M to affect your future. What you don’t know yet is whether this will be in a positive or negative way. Try to think ahead and work out the likely consequences of what you agree on. Some ideas may not be as good as someone is making them out to be.

SAGITTARIUS: Disagreements over methods or procedures slow down progress. It will become apparent M very quickly that some issues are not going to be easily A resolved. Relationships are tense and since you don’t R want to get dragged into an argument, the best thing you Y can do is keep your head down. W CAPRICORN: As much as you thrive on routine, O everyone needs a change and all you will want today is R to get out in the open air. The last thing you feel like is T being cooped up within the same four walls, whether it H is the home, the office or a more spacious workplace. If you can arrange your time to get the exercise and fresh air you need, you will be happier.

AQUARIUS: There are tasks that have been put off for M too long now. You may not be in the mood to deal with O them but you will feel better once they are out of the way. T Force yourself to find the energy to fulfil obligations. It H will be a relief not to have to think about these tomorrow E and the day after. R

PISCES: No matter how pushy your family and friends G might be in their attempts to persuade you to be out and O about, it is privacy and quiet you crave today. Head to a O quiet place you like to visit that few people know about. S E This will give you a few quiet moments with no distractions.

However, the church leader said it is important to embrace people’s differences and use them to the advantage of advancing the Kingdom of God. “What are you passionate about this morning? What has God bestowed upon you and your heart? What makes you feel excited and alive? This is what the Holy Spirit is working within us. For you see, no longer is it good enough to simply come and join an organisation, but realise that things have changed. If you join an organisa- tion, realise that you are to use these gifts to build up God’s Kingdom by being a part of that organisation,” said Reverend Sandiford. Reverend Sandiford said that God’s love should be communicated as it is pertinent to this society, adding that the message of love needs to be done in a way that transcends people’s differ- ences. He also noted that everyone is looking forward with anticipation to be inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit. “The spirit is calling us now to show and demonstrate that God is still active and still available,” said Reverend Sandiford.
