SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Today, Feinstein’s at the Nikko announced Feinstein’s Presents, a new series showcasing world-class performers at larger venues throughout the Bay Area. Kicking off the series, Feinstein’s at the Nikko will partner with The Lesher Center for the Arts to present three of the hottest stars of stage and screen – actor, singer and songwriter Cheyenne Jackson on Friday, January 20, 2017; Tony Award winner and Bay Area native James Monroe Iglehart on Friday, February 3, 2017; and Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Matthew Morrison on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Additional Feinstein’s Presents artists and venues will be announced at a later date. All three performances will take place at The Lesher Center for the Arts (1601 Civic Dr., Walnut Creek). In 2013, Jackson wowed audiences in his starring role as Tony in the San Francisco Symphony’s staged concert presentation of West Side Story. Jackson’s Broadway credits Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aida, All Shook Up (Theatre World Award), Xanadu (Drama Desk & Drama League Nominations) Damn Yankees, Finian’s Rainbow (Drama Desk Nomination) 8 and The Performers. Off-Broadway, Jackson has been seen in Altar Boyz, The Agony & the Agony and The Heart of the Matter. On television, he has had recurring roles on “30 Rock,” “Glee,” “Curb your Enthusiasm,” and most recently, “American horror Story” alongside Lady Gaga. Iglehart then originated the role of Bobby in Memphis on Broadway before landing his dream role of Genie in Aladdin. For his work as the Genie he won both the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He has recurred on Netflix's original series “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” as Coriolanus Burt, the rival of male protagonist Titus Andromedon portrayed by Tituss Burgess. He has also guest starred on Gotham. He recently filmed his feature debut opposite Richard Gere, Peter Dinklage and Juilianna Marguilles in "The Three Christs of Ypsilanti." Morrison made his Broadway debut in Footloose, followed by The Rocky Horror Show. he originated the roles of Link Larkin in Hairspray, Fabrizio Nacarelli in The Light in the Piazza (Tony Award nomination) and Lieutenant Cable in the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific. Morrison released a self-titled CD in 2011, followed by “Where It All Began” in 2013. Most recently, he created the role of JM Barrie in the new Broadway musical Finding Neverland. Originally from Louisiana, Robert has worked in many spots around the country as a Theatre artist. He is beyond ecstatic to be working on the hilarious Xanadu, it's been on his bucket list for years. His Duluth directing credits include Hedwig and The Angry Inch, Clown Bar, Cabaret, 1984, Death of a Salesman (The Underground), Peter Pan, It Runs in the Family (The Playhouse), Cat in the Hat, Willy Wonka, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Some Sneaky Sheep (The Playhouse Family Theatre), Rx (Renegade Theater Company). He also regularly appears on the Renegade stage as an improviser. MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING Director: Christina Stroup Christina Stroup was hired to perform in The Full Monty this past summer and she fell so in love with Duluth, she moved here from Houston, TX! Recently she appeared on the NorShor stage in Don’t Dress For Dinner and Rags to Ritzes. Christina has been a professional actress for over 10 years and is a proud Actor’s Equity member. She’s worked regionally all over the U.S. Christina graduated with a BFA in musical theater and opera from Sam Houston State University. In the past few years, Christina started directing and found a new passion for theater. She’s directed many variety shows and musicals. A personal favorite is Once On This Island Jr. Christina performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Lone Star Festival in London.

With the march of technology until today, their realm has significantly expanded. Jean Cocteau, among others, added a tenth Muse to the original nine: that of the cinema. This article surveys various films in which one or more of the Muses play major parts; it also pays homage to the actresses who portray them and to others who may be regarded as their screen relatives. He ​ should be a malleable actor who can evolve from being guarded about protecting the theater to becoming partners with Sonny and then betraying him. Danny should be an experienced singer. The Andrews Sisters - The Andrews Sisters (Maxene, Patty and Laverne) are an exact duplicate of ​ the Andrews Sisters that were famous in the 1940s. Great singers - might double with other ensemble roles. The Tubes - The Tubes is an iconic, hard-rockin' new-wave band of the 80s. Band members can be ​ ANY GENDER. Must have a lot of energy and sing with character. Melpomene - Muse of Tragedy, is the eldest of the Muses and is most responsible for plotting ​ against Kira. Strong acting and singing required. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by Emmy nominated actors Anna Chlumsky and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. This year's event was once again a benefit for The Actors Fund. Award presenters this year included some of the biggest and brightest stars from stage and screen, including: F. Murray Abraham, Uzo Aduba, Christian Borle, Steven Boyer, Jason Robert Brown, David Burtka, Anna Camp, Geneva Carr, Michael Cerveris, Sutton Foster, Lisa Howard, James Monroe Iglehart, Andy Karl, Marc Kudisch, Judy Kuhn, Swoosie Kurtz, Tony Kushner, Norm Lewis, Justin Long, Ruthie Ann Miles, Gretchen Mol, Elisabeth Moss, Brad Oscar, Elizabeth Reaser, Alex Sharp, Alicia Silverstone, Micah Stock, Amber Tamblyn, Max von Essen and Tony Yazbeck. The Off-Broadway League’s Lortel Awards Producing & Administration Committee (Terry Byrne, Dean Carpenter, Denise Cooper, Margaret Cotter, Carol Fishman, George Forbes, Michael Page, Catherine Russell and Lindsey Sag) produces the Lortel Awards ceremony. Acclaimed writer/director Michael Heitzman returned to direct the Lortel Awards for the fifth consecutive year.
