Please feel free to shop and locate your own sources.) DRAWING & PAINTING WRITE STUDENT’S NAME & CLASS PERIOD ON EACH AND EVERY ITEM IN SHARPIE MARKER. The nominal Art Fee will be used to supply paper ONLY. Each student is responsible for supplying & maintaining his/her own materials: Hand held mirror (for self-portrait) Painting shirt (to protect your clothes) Acrylic paints ( Liquitex “BASIC” brand with white, black, yellow, red, orange, green, blue, purple http://www.dickblick.com/products/liquitex-basics-sets/) 4 Prestretched canvases (18 x 24 http://www.dickblick.com/products/blick-academic-canvas/) 4 Brushes (Inexpensive, nylon bristled, assorted sizes. http://www.dickblick.com/products/liquitex- basics-brush-sets/) Water bowl (empty butter container) Palette & Trash Bag (unbreakable plate, covered with plastic bag) Dish towel Pencil, scissors, glue stick Sharpie permanent black marker Watercolor markers (Crayola set of 8 or 10) Watercolor paints (Prang or Crayola) Colored pencils (Prang or Crayola) Chalk pastels (or "soft" pastels, set of 12 or more) Oil pastels (set of 12 or more) Shoe/storage box (or tackle box with a lock) POTTERY WRITE STUDENT’S NAME & CLASS PERIOD ON EACH AND EVERY ITEM IN SHARPIE MARKER. Each student is responsible for supplying & maintaining his/her own materials: Big shirt & sweat pants or apron (to wear over clothes) Large, heavy plastic bags (to cover clay projects) Paddle (a flat, wooden kitchen spoon or a hand-sized block of wood) Bowl (about 8” diameter) and old kitchen towel, Empty butter containers with lids (to store slip) Dish towel 5 Hand-held printers (found objects to press into and texture the clay) 2 Brushes (inexpensive, large and small) & dish (for palette) Sandpaper Pen, scissors, glue stick Shoe/storage box (or tackle box with a lock) ADVANCED DRAWING WRITE STUDENT’S NAME & CLASS PERIOD ON EACH AND EVERY ITEM IN SHARPIE MARKER.
