UCSB placed three men on the Ben Gage and Larry Guy led the Gauchos to the win over the all-tournament team following Phillips team, which Coach Rick Rowland termed “ the turning the Gauchos’ win in the point o f the tournament.” Gage scored three goals, while Guy National Amateur Athletic slapped in two, as the Santa Barbara squad came from a 3-1 deficit Union Junior Water Polo to win 6-4.
