The scenes on the Island of Jersey are of idyllic freshness and beauty, and in the Seigneur of Rozel, the lord of the island, the author has produced a character of delightful humor and braggadocio. It is a thoroughly rounded, satisfying story, written with brilliancy and charm of style. Illustrated by the Kinneys, Post 8vo, $1.50. VergillUS By IRVINQ BACHELLER By the Author of " Eben Holden " After two years' work along new lines, Irving Bacheller has produced in "Vergilius" a story of new atmosphere and unusual power. The scenes are those of ancient Rome in the days of Augustus Csesar, and of Palestine under the dark rule of Herod on the eve of the Nativity. The story is one of tender affection and strong situations, and the final scene is a crowning touch of rare beauty. Post 8vo, $1.35. The Georgians By WILL N. HARBEN By the Author of " Abner Daniel " The scene of Mr. Harben's new novel is that of "Abner Daniel," and Abner is the chief characrer. The story deals with the troubles of two lovers. The girl's father disapproves of her infatuation and endeavors to separate the lovers, but Abner, with generous impulse, ingeniously brings them together. Abner, with his shrewd humor, pervades the whole story, which is the strongest story of Georgian life Mr. Harben has written. Post 8vo, $1.50. The Flower of Youth By ROY ROLFE GILSON Anthor of "In the Morning Glow," "When Love Is Young" Mr. Gilson's new book is by far his most important work. It is a story that can be compared oniy with " Prue and I." It is full of quaint humor and sentiment, and there are many parts dealing with child life, handled with the same simplicity and truth found in Mr. Gilson's earlier stories. Post8vo, Cloth, $7.25. • Golf Is Once Again a Family Affair at the 2020 Champion of Champions
GOLF IS ONCE AGAIN A FAMILY AFFAIR AT THE 2020 CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS Park Ridge, Illinois, October 8, 2020 By Dennis LaLiberty Patrick Keegan of Morris Country Club fashioned a steady one over par round to earn a slim but solid victory in the Richard E. Peterson Champion of Champions tournament played at Park Ridge Country Club. There was plenty of competition as 72 golfers stepped up to the first tee, with three competitors finishing at two over par, just one stroke behind Keegan, who spent a nervous 60 minutes as leader in the clubhouse while his closest competitors were still out on the course. Keegan designed his game plan after one practice round the previous Sunday and executed it with workmanlike consistency. As so often happens, it was the Park Ridge course’s “Last Mile,” the four finishing holes, which proved decisive. The 18th hole did take its toll on Keegan, who came to the tee at even par and left at one over after his third bogey in a round that featured birdies at #’s 2 and 13, with the previous two bogies coming at #’s 7 and 10. For most of the day it looked as if Brian Hickey of Edgewood Valley Country Club might become the second lefthander to win since Park Ridge became the host club, but the final two holes proved his undoing. Hickey came to #17 at one under par and left #18 at two over after a double at #17 and bogey at #18. Hickey’s playing partner, Brian Barrett of Royal Melbourne entered the “Last Mile” at plus one, but recorded bogey at #15, then just missed a redeeming 6 footer for birdie at #16, which, after he played the last two holes in regulation, produced his two over round.

Since the beginning of 2014, we have expanded from Northern California to 19 states, coast to coast (24 by the end of January 2018), touching the lives of 30,000 young men and women. We have sent over 200 young men and women to college with a 95% graduation rate, have provided hundreds of summer golf Letter from the Outgoing President jobs, and caddie loops. And we have provided nearly 600,000 subsidized rounds of golf for young men and women, most of whom would not be able to play, and would not have access, without this program. 2017 Results 2017 also saw the addition of a national development director, constant interaction and travel to visit and coach partner state associations, and the hosting of our first National Summit in Monterey, which brought our partner associations together to learn how to do what we do.

DIVISION I MEN’S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORDS BOOK 2017 Championship 2 History 5 All-Time Team Results 14 Individual Awards 36 2017 CHAMPIONSHIP HIGHLIGHTS Oklahoma crowned 2017 Division I men's golf national champions. In its first ever NCAA men’s golf match play national championship appearance, Oklahoma won its second national championship in program history with a 3-1-1 victory over defending champion Oregon at Rich Harvest Farms. “I had a good feeling (this) week. My wife and I had talked about this before we went to regionals that we aren’t the best putting team and at regionals, you got to be able to do somethings at the right time to advance through,” Sooners coach Ryan Hybl said. “I told her I was hoping that this group was going to get a chance to shine. If they had an opportunity this week, they were going to do something crazy good. “This has been our best individual year. We had five individual winners, which not a lot of teams can say. The firepower was there.” Oklahoma’s championship was its first since 1989 at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmonds, Oklahoma, a championship co-hosted with rival Oklahoma St.. The Sooners lost in the quarterfinal round of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship. Blaine Hale put the first point on the board, downing Oregon’s Norman Xiong 4&3 as he sank a birdie putt on the 15th green. Xiong had the early momentum in the match, winning the first hole and the early one-up advantage.
