On Monday, Lux was named California League Player of the Month by MiLB, Rancho Cucamonga at San Jose, 7:00 PM the first Quake to receive the honor this season. WALKER'S WEEK: The Quakes reeled in a pair of league honors on Monday as INF Jared Walker was named California League Player of the week. LHP Austin Hamilton was placed on the Disabled List. On Sunday RHP Elio Serrano was transferred to Rancho Stockton at Modesto, 7:05 PM Cucamonga from short-season Ogden of the Pioneer League. RHP Ryan Moseley was placed on the temporarily inactive list. On Friday, RHP Wills Montgomerie and RHP Sven Schueller were transferred to Rancho Cucamonga from Low-A Great Lakes. UCETA DEBUT: RHP Edwin Uceta was promoted yesterday to the Quakes and will debut on the mound tonight against San Jose. 2018 QUAKES AT A GLANCE Uceta has spent the whole season with Low-A Great Lakes where he was 5-6 with a 3.25 ERA over 20 starts and 99.2 total innings for 1st Half Record: 35-35 the Loons. A native of the Dominican Republic, Uceta signed with the Dodgers as an International Free Agent in 2016 at 18-years-old. 2nd Half Record: 33-12 OPPOSING PITCHER: LHP Mac Marshall will get the start tonight for the Giants, his 14th of the season and second against Rancho vs San Jose: 13-3 Cucamonga. Marshall last squared off with the Quakes in a relief outing on July 20th and tossed a scoreless inning. His only start vs SJ Home 5-2 against the Quakes was on June 22nd and the south-paw was saddled with a loss, allowing four runs over two innings. Turner was 0-for-6 at the plate while June 21 San Jose L, 5-6 Forsythe finished 1-for-10 with a double during the time in Rancho. Yasiel Puig joined the club on rehab assignment for June 22 San Jose W, 5-4 one game (5/8) in Lake Elsinore. Puig was 0-for-4 at the plate and was removed from the game in the seventh inning.
