Office of Accessibility Open House Event Sponsored By: Office of Accessibility Location: 1228 Haley Center Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.; 12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Office of Accessibility welcomes you to tour our office and meet with one of our specialists to learn more about our services. College of Agriculture Tours of Ag Hill Event Sponsored By: College of Agriculture Location: Comer Hall Time: Morning and Afternoon Tours Available Individual tours of the College of Agriculture are available for you and your family on Friday, September 13 of the Fall Family Weekend with morning and afternoon options that fit your schedule! During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet with a recruiter for an information session and go on tour with an Ag Ambassador. You can register for a tour using the link by visiting http://agriculture.auburn.edu/admissions/visit-campus/. All visits must be scheduled by September 10th. SKILL Open House Event Sponsored By: SKILL, Office of Accessibility Location: 2330 Haley Center Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. SKILL is hosting an Open House from 10am - 1pm. Parents of current SKILL students, as well as parents who are interested in learning more about the SKILL Program, are welcome to stop by to speak with SKILL academic coaches and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. SKILL is an academic support program for students with learning differences and executive functioning challenges. For more information contact [email protected]. Visitors will be given tours Friday, September 13 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Home to the Department of Campus Safety & Security and the Auburn Police Division's University Precinct, the building features a state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center, Campus Security Operations Center, and Consultation Room. Come take a tour and learn what we do to help keep campus safe. Veteran & Military Families Location: AU Veteran Resource Center, 217 Foy Hall Time: 12:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. We will provide a flyer of services as well as tours of our Auburn University Veterans Resource Center. College of Education Ice Cream Social Location: Haley Center Concourse Time: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Stop by the Haley Center concourse to get the scoop on the College of Education and a free cup of Bruster's Ice Cream. Raptor Release Location: Jule Collins Smith Museum Time: 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Southeastern Raptor Center has partnered with the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art in releasing 4 rehabilitated raptors. Join us in returning 4 Red-tailed Hawks back to nature after being rehabilitated at SRC. These raptor patients came into SRC due to being injured, orphaned or ill and will be returning to their natural habitat. Bring your cameras and binoculars and see the beauty of the Red-tailed Hawk. After the release please join us for the Southeastern Raptor Center’s Football, Fans and Feathers show where you will get to see many different raptor species up-close. The show starts at 4pm (gate opens at 3pm) and is located at 1350 Pratt-Carden Dr. Tickets are $5 per person, 3 and under Free. During the show, hawks, falcons, eagles and other birds of prey are free-flown from towers and around the amphitheater, enabling visitors to see these raptors flying close. This educational presentation is appropriate for all ages Jordan Hare Locker Room Tours Event Sponsored By: Auburn Athletics Location: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Gate 10 Time: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Experience the pre-game locker room setup for the Auburn football team at Jordan Hare- Stadium! Guests can enter through the Jane and Mike McCartney entrance at Gate 10 at the intersection of Donahue and Heisman Drive. Campus Walking Tours Event Sponsored By: Auburn Athletics Location: Auburn Alumni Center | 317 South College Street Time: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Get to know campus by foot on a walking tour led by Auburn's student representatives, the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. Tours will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Auburn Alumni Center. Tours can be directed to Jordan-Hare Stadium for locker room tours, or back to the Alumni Center.
