More than 1,100 Scouts and Scout leaders made their way to downtown Kansas City, MO on Saturday, September 29 to march in the 87th annual event. Heart of America Council Scouts filled 2 1/2 city blocks of the parade route making them the largest group entry. The 2012 theme, "The American Royal, Kansas City & Ameri- can Agriculture Pay Tribute to the Ameri- can Military," set the stage to honor those who serve our country.
