Introduction This route goes along the sea, and it is a special and wonderful route with spectacular views of the sea, sky, and land. You will stay overnight at some of the best manor houses, country homes and hotels available at the time of booking. As well as enjoying meals in restaurants where you can taste the best seafood, fish, meat, and wines that characterize this land so much. We shall cross along some of the best conserved natural environments of Southern Europe. Remote old villages and historic remains will be reached by us and we shall enjoy nature and wildlife as the ancients did. It is a route to disconnect from daily life, relax and enjoy the horse and friends, and at the same time, pay a visit to our best friend and horseman Santiago the apostle so that he continues to watch over us and give us health to enjoy life. If you want to enjoy a route on horseback, equestrian, fun way to visit the south of Galicia - Las -, the wine route, the muleteers route, albariño wineries, restaurants, spas, fishing ports, markets, beaches, rivers, towns, monuments, ... do not hesitate and choose this tour, you will not regret it. The coastal route can start in , bordering Galicia with Portugal, for which it would take 10 days and 9 nights from Tui, passing through A Guarda, Baiona, Vigo, Ría de Arcade (oysters), Puentesampaio, , Alto from the Poyo mountains, golf course, , Portonovo, La Lanzada beach, El Grove (fishing port), Isla de la Toja, , Villagarcía, , Padrón and Santiago. Depending on time availability it can be made shorter or longer. (Different departure points available, check Itinerary section) At the end of the journey, we will stay and enjoy a farewell dinner. The next day we will have breakfast and accompany you to your point of return home. Wishing you have enjoyed the Camino and our services, we hope to see you again. Day by day itinerary ITINERARY: OPTION 1 (10 Days / 9 Nights): VIGO OR SANTIAGO - A GUARDA - OIA - BAIONA – VIGO - - ARCADE - PONTEVEDRA - - ARMENTEIRA - CAMBADOS - - VILAGARCIA DE AROUSA - CARRACEDO - PADRON - SANTIAGO OPTION 2 (9 Days / 8 Nights): VIGO OR SANTIAGO - BAIONA – VIGO - REDONDELA - ARCADE - PONTEVEDRA - POIO - ARMENTEIRA - CAMBADOS - VILANOVA DE AROUSA - VILAGARCIA DE AROUSA - CARRACEDO - PADRON - SANTIAGO OPTION 3 (7 Days / 6 Nights): VIGO OR SANTIAGO - VIGO - REDONDELA - ARCADE - PONTEVEDRA - POIO - ARMENTEIRA - CAMBADOS - VILANOVA DE AROUSA - VILAGARCIA DE AROUSA - CARRACEDO - PADRON - SANTIAGO OPTION 4 (6 Days / 5 Nights): VIGO OR SANTIAGO - PONTEVEDRA - POIO - ARMENTEIRA - CAMBADOS - VILANOVA DE AROUSA - VILAGARCIA DE AROUSA - CARRACEDO - PADRON - SANTIAGO DAY 1: • Transfer from the airport, train station, bus stations, hotels, etc... in Santiago or Vigo. • Here are the 4 options for different starting departure points on the way: - Start riding from A Guardia (10 Days / 9 Nights) - Start riding from Baiona (9 Days / 8 Nights) - Start riding from Vigo (7 Days / 6 Nights) - Start riding from Pontevedra (6 Days / 5 Nights) • On arrival at our accommodation, we will check in our rooms • Some free time before dinner • 08:30PM: Dinner at the accommodation • 10:00PM: After dinner time to get some sleep for our next day of riding the Camino de Santiago • Overnight D *DAYS 2 - 9 (*Number of days depending on the option you choose, the daily routine would be the same each day.): • 08:00AM: Breakfast • 09:00AM: Saddle up and start our horse-riding • 11:00AM: Morning stop (A break for a drink, snack, coffee, etc...) • 11:30AM: We continue on our ride after the short break • 02:00PM: Stop for Lunch and to rest a bit • 04:00PM: Afternoon back on our horse and we continue on the way. • 06:00PM-06:30PM approx.: Ending the day at our accommodation to stay overnight. • Free time to rest and relax • 08:30PM: Dinner at the accommodation • 10:00PM: After dinner time to get some sleep for our next day of riding the Camino de Santiago • Overnights B, L, D DAY 6, 7, 9 or 10: • This morning you could make the final ride into the Obradoiro square by horseback to end your Camino de Santiago. • Back to the hotel for breakfast • 12:00PM: Transfer to Santiago airport, train or bus station, etc... Anyway, a light coat and waterproof wear are recommended. Recommended season for mild weather is from March to October
