This morning, we come together as a caring community of families, friends, colleagues, neighbors and students to celebrate the lives of our loved ones, whose memories we honor. We also join in support of those who are saddened by loss and grief ~ you are not alone. On a personal note, this is my 28th Walk for Hospice, and my last as CEO of Care Dimensions as I’ll be retiring later this year. I am awed by the extraordinary outpouring of support that the Walk has generated since its inception in 1988. To witness thousands of people of all ages from across the North Shore and beyond turn out on an autumn Sunday to walk, reconnect with old friends and make new ones, and raise funds to support the mission of Care Dimensions, is truly inspiring and a memory I will cherish always. With your presence today, you honor the memories of your departed loved ones and visibly express your support of Care Dimensions. On behalf of the families and patients who benefit from your participation and generosity, please accept our heartfelt thanks! Sincerely, Diane T.
