PUBLIC WORKS
It is proposed to undertake the construction, improvements and maintenance of all Government buildings of all the regions. Also proposed to strengthen the Public Works Department. The major works of construction of Jail at Kalapet and Construction of Court Complex at Puducherry have been completed. Provision of 2 nos. of 1.5 ton air-conditioning units at Regional Administrator Office, providing panelling, false ceiling and wooden stage in Civil Station (New Block), Construction of office for Member of Legislative Assembly at Mudaliarpet, Construction, Improvements, Maintenance to various Government Buildings have been undertaken.
