That’s right: you lay the foundation. Over the years, many students have successfully laid the foundation of a career in engineering at Nassau Community College. Engineering is one of the largest professions in the United States today, employing 1.2 million people. But ‘engineering’ is an umbrella word that encompasses a wide range of occupations.
