Shootouts will only occur if a conference game remains tied after the lone overtime, which is now 3-on-3, with the shootout winner earning two points and the loser getting one point, the same as an overtime win and loss.

MIAMI: Freshman goaltender Ludvig Persson ranks second nationally among goalies with at least two games played with his .962 save percentage on the season. He has two shutouts this season, which ties for the NCAA lead, while his 1.19 goals-against average ranks third in the country.

MINNESOTA DULUTH: Senior forward Nick Swaney leads the NCHC, averaging 1.33 points per game, while his 12 points tie for second in the NCHC. His five multi-point games tie for the NCHC.

NORTH DAKOTA: Senior forward was the only NCHC player to record a point in every game in the Pod. He is riding a 10-point streak and is tied for the NCHC lead with 13 points (3g, 10a) this season. He is also the only current active NCHC player in the Century Club, with his 103 career points (33g, 70a) sixth among active NCAA players.

OMAHA: The Mavericks came out of the Pod having killed off 26 straight opponent power plays over a stretch of more than eight games.
