Page 1 of 5 ArcGIS Pro Licenses ArcGIS Pro software can be installed on the same machine as your ArcGIS Desktop software. The three licensing options available with ArcGIS Pro through the ELA Program are listed below. Please use the ArcGIS Pro Order Form to make your selection. The ArcGIS Pro license is assigned to individual users within Portal for ArcGIS by an Named User License organization administrator. Please indicate the number of licenses needed and the MAC address of the server hosting your Portal for ArcGIS software.

Concurrent Use License Your machine points to a License Manager Server for license authorization from a shared pool of licenses. Select Advanced, Standard or Basic functionality.

Single Use License These licenses are authorized on a single machine. Anyone with access to that machine can use ArcGIS Pro on or off the network.

Please note ArcGIS Pro can only run on a 64-bit system. For additional system requirements and information, please go to http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm or http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/.

ArcGIS Enterprise Licenses The four components of ArcGIS Enterprise are ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Data Store and ArcGIS Web Adapter. ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS require separate licenses and must be requested separately. Data Store and Web Adapter can be installed without a separate license. ArcGIS Server Licenses - There are two levels to choose from, Enterprise and Workgroup. • Enterprise Server: This level is designed to run and optionally deploy on multiple machines and on a user-defined multiuser database (IBM DB2, Informix Dynamic Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL). The Enterprise level server supports unlimited simultaneous connections to a multiuser geodatabase and has unlimited storage capacity. • Workgroup Server: This level is designed and limited to run on a single machine and includes SQL Server Express 2008 R2 database engine. The Workgroup level server supports 10 simultaneous connections to a multiuser geodatabase and has 10 GB of data storage on a multiuser geodatabase. Please note ArcGIS Enterprise can only run on a 64-bit system. POR001 Portal for ArcGIS In order to use Portal for ArcGIS software, you will need an Enterprise Server Advanced license or a Workgroup Server Advanced license. This user type includes the Essential Apps Bundle. Creator—Creators have all the capabilities of the Viewer user type, plus the ability to create content, administer the organization, and share content for use in Essential Apps, Field Apps, and Office Apps. The Creator user type is designed for those who need to create web maps and apps, perform in-depth spatial analysis using the analysis tools in the portal, and work with data using field apps such as ArcGIS Collector. This user type includes the Essential Apps, Field Apps, and Office Apps bundles.
