1381 MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS American Society of Newspaper Editors April 8,1997 The board of directors, staff and legal counsel met beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the J.W. Marriott. They were joined at 11 a.m. by leaders of the ASNE committees and other journalism associations. At lunch, leaders of the Unity minority groups made a presentation to the ASNE group.
