HOYLAKE URBAN DISTRICT COUNCIL Urban District of Hoy lake ( and ) (Traffic Regulation) No. 2 Order 1968 Notice is hereby given that the Urban District Council of propose to make an Order under section 1(1), (2) and (3) and section 2(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, the effect of which will be to: (a) prohibit the waiting by vehicles at any time in: 1. Croft Drive ... From its junction with the centre line of Shore Road for a distance of ISO feet in a north- easterly direction and for a distance of 255 feet in a south-westerly direction. 2. Grange Road ... Easterly side—from a point 286 feet in a northerly direction from its junction with Dee Lane for a distance of 100 feet in a northerly direction. 3. Grange Road ... Westerly side—from its junction with Riversdale Road for a distance of 110 feet in a southerly direction. 4. South Parade ... Easterly side—whole length from its junction with Riversdale Road in a southerly direction to its junction with Sandy Lane. 5. South Parade ... Westerly side—from the line of the kerb on the northerly side of Riversdale Road for a distance of 80 feet in a southerly direction. 6. South Parade ... Westerly side—from its junction with the centre line of Dee Lane for a distance of 70 feet in a northerly direction. 7. South Parade ... Westerly side—from its junction with the centre line of Dee Lane for a distance of 70 feet in a southerly direction. 8. South Parade ... Westerly side—from the northerly side of Victoria Drive to the southerly side of Shrewsbury Road. 9. South Parade ... Westerly side—from a point 185 feet south of the southerly side of Albert Road for a distance of 475 feet in a southerly direction. (b) prohibit the waiting by vehicles for a longer period than twenty minutes in any hour in: Grange Road leading Easterly side—from a point 386 feet in a northerly direction from its junction with Dee to Bridge Road. The Order will contain the usual exceptions permitting vehicles to wait: to enable persons to board or alight; to enable goods to be loaded or unloaded; in connection with any funeral, building operation or demolition; to enable works to be carried out in any of the roads or lengths of road concerned; to enable a vehicle to be used in pursuance of statutory powers or duties; or to enable a vehicle to take in petrol, oil, water, or air from a garage. A copy of the proposed Order and map showing the roads to which the proposed Order relates may be inspected at the Town Hall, Hoylake, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The proposed Order will contain exceptions permitting vehicles to be used: (a) for the conveyance of persons, goods or merchandise to or from any premises situated on or adjacent to that length of road; or (b) in connection with any building operation or demolition in or adjacent to that length of road, the removal of any obstruction to traffic in that length of road, the maintenance, improvement or reconstruction of that length of road, or the laying, erection, alteration or repair in or adjacent to that length of road of any sewer or of any main, pipe or apparatus for the supply of gas, water or electricity or of any telegraphic line as denned in the Telegraph Act 1878. A copy of the proposed Order and map showing the roads to which the proposed Order relates may be inspected at the Town Hall, Hoylake, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
