Nursery Class in St.Mary's School in Ruabon have had a very interesting time learning about their topic: "People who help us," They have had special visitors to their class to talk about their jobs!

Staff Nurse Laura Thomas from The Prince of Ward at the Hospital was one of the visitors to the Nursery Class and talked to the children about how she helps people with broken bones. She gave a bandaging demonstration and the children had a lovely morning bandaging each other, checking hearts and temperatures!

PC Kim also very kindly visited Nursery to talk all about her job. She described her uniform and all the equipment she has to use for her work. ** TEDDY terror!!

Would you like your Teddy to zip wire down from St Mary’s Church Tower and earn a certificate as proof of this daring feat?

On Saturday 2nd July at 2pm in St Mary’s Church grounds, there will also be games for all the family and refreshments.

If anyone would like to have a stall for this event, please contact Rev’d Kate Tiltman on: 01978 824087 email: [email protected].
