The Sundown Coaching Staff appreciates you! Thank you to both teams for another great XC season. The girls had a great invitational season winning all but one invitational meet. That meet, The LCU Rust Busters Relay, was the opening meet and the girls finished 2nd. The girls then reeled off five consecutive invitational victories. The girls then went on to win both the district and regional meets. The girls finished the season with a second place finish at the state championship meet in Round Rock. The senior girls on this team finished their high school XC careers with 4 district championships, 4 regional championships, 2 state championships, and 2 state runners-up finishes. Thank you to all the girls in the program for the hard work and dedication you put into making this season a huge success. Senior girls you have been a special group and you will be greatly missed. The best of luck to each and every one of you. Know that I have an immense amount of love and respect for each and every one of you. Go out into this world and do great things. You have been conditioned for that. The boys had a great invitational season as well. Winning all but one of the invitational meets.
