    DISCOVERING NEW PROSPECTS FOR EXPLORATION IN AREAS OF NON- ADMISSION OF MINING CLAIMS LiMA - PERU 2020 New prospects for exploration in areas of non-admission of mining claims *(ANAMC) ANTABAMBA BLOQUE 3 Location and access Porphyry Cu - Au prospect It is located in southern of Peru, approximately 530 km southeast of Lima, in Pataypampa district, province of Grau in the region of Apurimac. Its central coordinates UTM-WGS84 (Zone 18) are 8'430,000 N and 752,000 E, with an average altude of 4,000 m.a.s.l. (Figures 1 and 2). Figure 1. Locaon of Antabamba Bloque 3. Apurimac Figure 2. Panoramic view of Antabamba Bloque 3 Geological setting Geologically, it is located within the area of influence of Andahuaylas-Yauri Batolito site. This is a highly prospecve area for the existence of mineral resources related to copper porphyry deposits and skarns areas. Cretaceous units such as the Hualhuani Formaon of the Yura Group, Murco Formaon and Arcurquina Formaon (Ferrobamba limestones) are distributed in this area. Felsic intrusive rocks from Oligocene cut these units (tonalite-granodiorites) and quartz-monzonite intrusive. In that way, this generates mineralized structures in the sandstones of the Hualhuani Formaon. Alteration and Mineralization Five types of hydrothermal alteraons were recognized: quartz sericite pyrite, silicifitaon, propylic, granular silica and argilizaon. Mineralizaon occurs in the three following ways: breccia filled with iron oxides and sulfides, veins type stockwork and disseminated. The last one is the most notorious in the intrusive rocks that outcrop southern ANAP. 2 *Areas reserved for the Peruvian State, in which INGEMMET has carried out regional mining prospecting works, close to being finished off.

El presente estudio es un primer intento de establecer el volumen de masa de hielo perdido por el retroceso glaciar, en el Santuario Nacional de Ampay ubicado en el distrito de Tamburco, provincia de Abancay y región de Apurímac - Perú. El trabajo se realizó los años 2009-2011, mediante estudios de reconocimiento de campo. También se identifica la flora maderable relacionada directamente con la reserva del acuífero y se plantean alternativas para aminorar la pérdida de agua almacenándola en el colchón hídrico, gracias a la acción de coníferas y otras familias maderables, como alternativa frente al riesgo para la población de Abancay. Eutro- fización ABSTRACT The anthropic climate change is causing an accelerated glacier retreat on Ampay summits. This study is a first attempt to establish the ice mass volume lost by the glacial retreat on Ampay Na- tional Sanctuary located in Tamburco District, Abancay Province and Apurimac Region - Peru. The work was done in the years 2009-2011, by field reconnaissance studies. Timber-yielding plants is identified directly with the aquifer reserves and propose alternatives to re- duce the water loss storing in the edaphic system, thanks to the families of conifers and other timber, as an alternative to risk for Abancay population.
