It is fast, economical and results are highly repeatable and reliable. Radiographic Testing (RT) is an important part of the inspection and development process within non-destructive testing industry. The technique is commonly used on welded parts, castings, forgings, composites and is also used for corrosion mapping and the measurement of wall thickness. Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method for detecting surface and subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, and cobalt or some of their alloys, Magnetic Particle Testing is a fast, simple, inexpensive and highly portable NDT technique for detecting fine or shallow surface cracks in pipes and fixtures made of ferromagnetic material. It is a versatile evaluation technique that can be used to detect imperfections on test specimens of widely varying shapes and sizes. Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) is a simple, inexpensive and reliable non-destructive inspection method for detecting discontinuities which are open to the surface of the item to be inspected. It can be used on metals and other nonporous materials. With the proper technique, it will detect a wide variety of discontinuities ranging in size from those readily visible down to the microscopic level, as long as the discontinuities are open to the surface and are sufficiently free of foreign material. PAGE 8 OF 47 OUR SERVICES ADVANCED NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) An advanced method of ultrasonic testing (UT), is widely used for non-destructive testing (NDT) in several industrial sectors, such as construction, pipelines, and power generation. This method is an advanced NDT method that is used to detect discontinuities i.e. cracks or flaws and thereby determine component quality. Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Can be used for a variety of applications, its primary use is rapid weld testing of circumferential and axial weld seams, also known as perpendicular TOFD scanning. Since the introduction of TOFD in the 1970s, the use of this reputed reliable nondestructive testing technique has steadily increased. Long Range Ultrasonic Testing (LRUT) is an advanced non-destructive examination technique that was developed for testing large volumes of material from a single test point. What differentiates this from more traditional methods of ultrasonic testing is that, with LRUT, a liquid couplant between transducers and the surface is not required. For this reason LRUT is one of the fastest inspection tools for carrying out pipeline surveys for corrosion and other damage mechanisms. Eddy Current Testing (ECT) is one of several non-destructive testing methods that uses the electromagnetism principle for flaw detection in conductive materials. A specially designed coil energized with an alternating-current is placed in proximity to the test surface, generating a changing magnetic field that interacts with the test-part and produces eddy currents in the vicinity. Variations in the changing phases and magnitude of these eddy currents are then monitored through the use of a receiver-coil or by measuring changes to the alternate current flowing in the primary excitation-coil.
