FRANCIS HOSPICE DUBLIN Who we are The staff and volunteers of St. Francis Hospice provide Investment in Fundraising specialist palliative care to the people of North Dublin city, 13% county and surrounding counties. Our services are delivered from our hospices in Raheny and Blanchardstown. Based on a Christian philosophy, each person is treated with dignity, Members of the Board respect and compassion irrespective of their cultural or 0% religious background or socio-economic status. Our services are at no charge to patients. What we do We supported 1,802 patients and their families in 2019. In addition, 255 patients were admitted to our Inpatient unit in Raheny and 359 to Blanchardstown for symptom management and end of life care. We helped families both during the person’s illness and afterwards, through support and counselling by the St. Francis Hospice Dublin Medical Social Work Team. Hospice Day Care Palliative Care is provided in a day care setting. Patients who attend our day care centres are supported to help with their physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs through symptom management and practical advice.
