Dix entreprises du secteur des véhicules autonomes et connectés s’exposeront au Central Plaza (LVCC Central Plaza – Pavillon CP-4). Pour cette nouvelle édition du CES, plus de 150 exposants viendront de l’industrie automobile et 55 entreprises françaises sont éligibles à un prix de l’innovation. Source : BUSINESS FRANCE (12/12/18) Par Alexandra Frutos UCAR PRÉSENTE SON OFFRE UCAR2SHARE Ucar présente sa nouvelle offre baptisée Ucar2Share, qui sera lancée le 15 mars 2019 et qui permettra aux automobilistes souhaitant changer de voiture ou en acheter une nouvelle d’aider à son financement contre quelques jours de location par mois (au moins sept). « Selon un calcul réalisé par l’Ademe, une Clio âgée de 15 ans coûte environ 279 euros par mois, comprenant le carburant, le coût d’acquisition, l’entretien, les péages, etc. La facture pour son équivalence en neuf s’élève à 393 euros par mois. Nous proposons de financer l’écart, soit 114 euros par mois, grâce à notre offre Ucar2share. Nous allons compenser la différence en accueillant les nouvelles voitures de ces clients comme des voitures de location », explique Jean-Claude Puerto, président d’Ucar. Concrètement, l’automobiliste mettra sa nouvelle voiture à disposition sur la plateforme Ucar2Share et en tirera un revenu de 16 euros par jour de mise en partage (pour l’exemple de la Clio). La mise en location sera assurée par l’agence Ucar, proche du client, qui gèrera pour le particulier le nettoyage, l’assurance, l’assistance, les véhicules de remplacement ou encore la remise en état. Ucar permettra ainsi de sécuriser la location d’un véhicule de particulier qui aujourd’hui ne l’est pas. Mieux encore, pour rassurer le client et l’inciter à changer de voiture, Ucar est prêt à faire l’avance de ces sept jours de location afin de réduire la mensualité du client, « ce qui permettra d’éviter les crises de trésorerie qui rendraient l’opération irréalisable. Le locataire pourra ainsi faire fluctuer les moments où il nous laisse son véhicule », poursuit M. Puerto. Concrètement, le particulier pourra faire reprendre son véhicule ancien (et bénéficier ainsi également de la prime à la conversion), choisir un véhicule dans une offre que doit présenter dans le détail Ucar à compter du mois de février, et le financer par le biais d’une LOA sur 36 mois. Ucar a d’ores et déjà sélectionné Santander comme partenaire financier de l’opération, mais entame des discussions avec d’autres sociétés de financement. Une dizaine d’agences Ucar ont déjà réalisé le test, qui sera donc étendu aux 150 agences franchisées, puis aux corners (environ 500) en concession sous marque blanche. Il vise une « amélioration récurrente des indicateurs financiers dans un marché volatil », a-t-il indiqué dans un communiqué à l’occasion de sa journée consacrée aux investisseurs. Le groupe compte porter « une attention particulière » à la génération de flux de trésorerie. Il compte dégager « au moins 200 millions d’euros » de trésorerie par an au cours de la période. Dans ce cadre, il prévoit de réduire ses investissements, qui s’élèveront à « environ 6 % du chiffre d’affaires consolidé », contre 7 % à 8 % sur la période 2016-2018. « Ces investissements sont destinés aux nouvelles capacités, à l’optimisation continue du tissu industriel […], au développement de nouveaux programmes et au lancement de nouveaux projets de recherche », a précisé le groupe. Plastic Omnium table également sur une « intensification de la politique de réduction de coûts ». Cette ambition combinée à une « croissance relative des activités du groupe en Amérique du Nord » et à une « amélioration des taux d’utilisation de l’outil industriel », notamment en Chine, doit permettre une « progression continue » du résultat opérationnel courant de l’équipementier entre 2019 et 2021. Le groupe, qui se positionne comme acteur de la voiture connectée, autonome et électrifiée, a par ailleurs confirmé ses objectifs pour l’exercice en cours. Il prévoit un résultat net « en forte progression », un résultat opérationnel comparable à celui de 2017 (615 millions d’euros) et un chiffre d’affaires en hausse d’au moins 5 %, à 8,9 milliards d’euros. Equipée d’une nouvelle motorisation Euro-6 Step D, la gamme T 2019 permet une réduction de la consommation de carburant et des émissions de CO2 pouvant atteindre 3 % par rapport à la génération précédente. Elle bénéficie également de nouveaux équipements qui augmentent le confort de conduite et de vie à bord. Les Renault Trucks T et T High version 2019 sont d’ores et déjà équipés de moteurs DTI 11 et DTI 13 Euro-6 Step D, conformes à la règlementation qui entrera en vigueur le 1er septembre 2019. Les modèles du constructeur roumain sont en effet commercialisés avec un badge de la marque au losange en Russie, au Mexique, en Afrique du Sud ou encore en Inde. La stratégie commerciale, censée mettre en confiance les nouveaux clients à la recherche de voitures abordables, semble avoir bien fonctionné. « Je ne peux pas discuter le fait que nous avions à le faire pour les affaires, parce que les Renault étaient chères pour certains marchés et que les Dacia étaient des voitures relativement modernes, fiables et abordables, nous les avons donc renommées. Cela nous a aidé à mettre un pied sur ces marchés. Mais maintenant, nous commençons à vendre plus de voitures sur des marchés comme la Russie, et nous allons commencer à les différencier », a expliqué le dirigeant. Power Finds Porsche, GAC FCA Jeep and WEY Rank Highest in Respective Segments SHANGHAI: 19 Aug. 2021 – Vehicles in China are gradually losing their attractiveness to young customers, as satisfaction is lowest among new-vehicle owners born after 1990, compared with other age groups, according to the J.D. Power 2021 China Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study,SM released today. Specifically, satisfaction among owners born before 1980 is 769 (on a 1,000-point scale), 755 among owners born in the 1980s and only 718 among owners born after 1990. The three categories with the biggest gap in satisfaction scores between post-90s customers and those in the other two groups are vehicle performance, driving comfort and driving feel. As for the specific attributes the study measures, owners born after 1990 are less satisfied with using the navigation system and the usefulness of infotainment system functions. The study, now in its 19th year, examines new-vehicle owners’ assessments of their experience with their new vehicle within the first two to six months of ownership. The data is used extensively by manufacturers to help them design and develop more appealing models. The overall APEAL score for the industry in 2021 is 733, which is one point higher than in 2020. “Customers born after 1990 now account for more than half of owners of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles; however, they are the least satisfied and the least excited with their vehicles,” said Jeff Cai, general manager of auto product practice at J.D.
