TO the MOON and BACK to the Moon and Back Is Quite a Distance TO THE MOON AND BACK To the moon and back is quite a distance. I thread through every song on my first solo guess it’s about the distance I had to walk album. You can find all the different stages to finally have this album in my hands; at of a loving woman including the heartbro- least it feels like it. “To the moon and back” ken, the faithful, the caring, the desperate is also a term used to express how much and the head-over-heels-in-love ones. I’ve you love somebody. I use it every day when I experienced all of this and there’s one thing look at the love of my life, George, to whom I that I have learned: whatever life hands would like to dedicate this album. Love is the out to you, it’s so much easier to take when most powerful force in the universe. That’s you’re in love! why I picked this topic which runs like a 01 WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE 02 I‘M GETTING‘ GONE It’s a kiss on my cheek when the sun comes up I bundled up my t-shirts packed some extra jeans two sugars and a cream in my coffee cup Runnin’ down this list in my head after holdin’ me all night Gotta finish up this letter another line or two that’s what love looks like And place it by your pillow on the bed and then It’s warmin’ up my car on a cold winter mornin’ little post-it notes sayin’ “i love you darlin’” I’m getting’ gone, gonna get out on that highway and makin’ me smile And try and find the pieces of my life yeah that’s what love looks like I’m getting’ gone, gonna leave this fight behind me And it looks like we’re in it so deep Doesn’t matter who was wrong or right yeah, it’s all over you and me I’m getting’ gone That’s what love looks like I’ve written this goodbye note a hundred times before when you got it right Then stayed and tried to work it out instead look at you and I But you’ve been so unhappy, we don’t talk much anymore that’s what love looks like And the words we left unspoken they’re better left unsaid It’s fightin’ and laughin’, makin’ up just like that I’m getting’ gone, gonna get out on that highway it’s givin’ all you got and gettin’ it back And try and find the pieces of my life yeah, it’s bigger than life I’m getting’ gone, gonna leave this fight behind me that’s what love looks like Doesn’t matter who was wrong or right It’s the smile that you see in my eyes I’m getting’ gone it’s the happiness we can’t hide No, not one single second thought, now it’s crystal clear That’s what love looks like We’ll both be better off once I’m outta here ... You’re sleepin’ there so soundly, dreamin’ I suppose But I wonder if you know And it looks like we’re in it so deep yeah it’s all over you and me I’m getting’ gone, leavin’ any moment Gotta try and find the pieces of my life That’s what love looks like I’m getting’ gone, don’t know where I’m goin’ ... But I know it’s time to say goodbye Oh oh oh oh oh I’m getting’ gone That’s what love looks like I’m getting’ gone ... 03 LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK 04 EVEN IF IT BREAKS MY HEART Day after day we‘re off to the races Restless shadows gather in your eyes The kids and the job puttin‘ us through our paces Watching the horizon day and night We gotta make some time for just you and me Out there you see, so many things I know our lives can seem kind of crazy But all you want is to chase your dreams Let‘s find a night and just be lazy. And where it goes from there well let‘s just see If it takes goodbye to help you reach that far off star Somehow I‘ll find the way to say the words I wanna live, laugh, - Love you to the moon and back. If letting go helps you discover just how beautiful you are Better hold on tight it‘s a long, long way to go. And brings you all the good that you deserve Now won‘t it feel fine, - Sit back and let‘s enjoy the ride I‘m glad I paid a part, even if it breaks my heart ‘Cause when I love you to the moon and back, I wanna take it slow. Silence like the sunlight fill this room Strange how I‘m already missing you Honey tonight ain’t gonna have any worries But one more kiss won‘t be enough Just you ‘n me – I don’t wanna hurry To make you feel this kind of love Makin’ the most of the way we make love come alive I’ll get the wine and start the radio playing’ If it takes goodbye to help you reach that far off star Your hand in mine to the music we‘re swayin’ Somehow I‘ll find the way to say the words Slowing it down tonight let’s take our time. If letting go helps you discover just how beautiful you are And brings you all the good that you deserve I wanna live, laugh... I‘m glad I paid a part, even if it breaks my heart People rush around runnin into eachother And I‘d do anything for you They don‘t seem to know what we‘ve both discovered Anything you need me to That we don‘t want to live our lives in overdrive Just to make you happy I‘d do anything for you I wanna live, laugh, - Love you to the moon and back. Better hold on tight it‘s a long, long way to go. If it takes goodbye to help you reach that far off star Now won‘t it feel fine, - Sit back and let‘s enjoy the ride Somehow I‘ll find the way to say the words ‘Cause when I love you to the moon and back, If letting go helps you discover just how beautiful you are Yeah, when I love you to the moon and back, And brings you all the good that you deserve When I love you to the moon and back, we‘ll take it nice I‘m glad I paid a part, even if it breaks my heart and slow Even if it breaks my heart Come on and love me to the moon and back, Oh, Oh, Oh I love you to the moon and back 05 AFTER THE RAIN 06 WALK ON Rain was pourin’ down, the night he broke the news Hurt today - gone tomorrow Thunder crashed around him, when he told me we were through I have loved and learned - there‘s something I have missed Heartless as a bitter wind he blew away for good I‘m takin‘ back my heart - time to lead and not follow I struggled in that storm for months until I understood ‚Yeah‘ I‘m breaking out Tears are just like rain, Ain‘t gonna be no side-show When they finish falling, nothing’s quite the same. Look at me Watch the way that love goes, baby… After the rain, the storm’s a memory The sky is clear, the air is fresh Walk on - on my way to something better It’s time to plant a seed Walk on - that‘s how it‘s gotta be After the rain, life begins a new Be strong - strong enough - come whatever It’s time to grow, time to show The only way I‘m gonna get to me The world what I can do Is walk on, walk on After the rain Gotta move - but, I ain‘t running For years my life revolved around him, constant as the sun I can take the truth - I can face the night alone, Oh But never changing leads to words unsaid and dreams undone I ain‘t lookin‘ back – Lord I wanna see what‘s coming Now I’m free to be the me he never really knew ‘Cause, when I‘m talkin‘ love Do the things I didn’t and I always wanted to I ain‘t never gonna fake it Funny how it goes It‘s my life The rain that drowns your dreams also makes them grow And I don‘t want to waste it, yeah, baby… After the rain, the storm’s a memory... Walk on - on my way... Sometimes truth is hard to see ‚Yeah‘ I‘m breaking out I thank the lord for showin’ me, yeah Ain‘t gonna be no side-show Look at me After the rain, the storm’s a memory... Watch the way that love goes, baby Oh, After the rain Walk on - on my way to something better Walk on - that‘s how it‘s gotta be Be strong - strong enough - come whatever The only way I‘m gonna get to me I‘ll take a leap of faith, ‚cause I believe Walk on, baby walk on, hey yeah, baby walk on 07 ONE STEP CLOSER 08 HE IS I‘ve seen my heart of darkness I don‘t know quite where to begin Let‘s just say I crossed over that line It’s kind of like describing red Held hands with the hopeless The thing his smile does in my heart In too deep on that ride went around one more time The same thing light does in the dark When you‘re standing on the edge you don‘t look down The kind of thing that words just miss Till you‘re ready and willing to fly He is.

Thank you for inviting me here today, and excuse for my English! “Fabrizio, ...we are here today to talk about and celebrate your newest album - Tales of Clay - an homage to our earth and all the stories she holds. WE ...along with the other animals, the stones, the rivers, the trees, clouds, and all our winged friends, are mere characters within a huge story that are visibly unfolding around us. We are participants within the vast imagination that is dreaming our world into creation. And yet, although humans justify only - 0.01% of all life we have destroyed 83% of wild mammals and over half of the plant life. Groundbreaking assessment of all life on Earth reveals humanity’s surprisingly tiny part in this great story, has disproportionately destroyed wild habitats and polluted her oceans, rivers, and waters. Tales of Clay, is a collection of tales in music. Stories that pay tribute to this grand mystery and epic artwork called - LIFE - that we are part of. It speaks to the beauty of the lands and invites us to remember the bigger picture - talk to us about your personal connection with our earth. her stories, and your vision behind this new album Tales of Clay.

  • Kara David Stephens Vocals Kyle Pavone Vocals Joshua Moore Guitar
kara David Stephens vocals Kyle Pavone vocals Joshua Moore guitar Lou Cotton guitar Andrew Glass bass Eric Choi drums We Came As Romans has just released their highly anticipated, fourth full-length on July 24, 2015 via Equal Vision Records. The self-titled album was recorded with multi-platinum award winning producer David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore, Of Mice and Men). Internationally, We Came As Romans was released in partnership with Spinefarm Records. On the new album, the Detroit-based band confidently shows off a newfound sense of maturity, camaraderie, depth, and a balanced understanding of the world around them, through the intense juxtaposition of the beauty and harsh injustices of growing up and experiencing life for all that it is. We Came As Romans have not only found themselves on the new album, but they’ve found each other and have banded together as brothers to take on the world around them – with a massive and dedicated army of fans in tow. ”This record closes a chapter for our band,” shares vocalist Dave Stephens. “We’re not going anywhere, but we view things differently and we’re much older than we did when we wrote our debut record, To Plant a Seed, which started our story. As the man on the album cover suggests, we’re now grown men and we’re not blessed with the innocence or the youthful spirit of a child as we once had. Living life with hope for things to change isn’t a bad thing, but we’d rather speak up and start taking action towards it.” Written in New Jersey, New York City, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Nashville over the course of several months and countless sessions, We Came As Romans offers the band’s most dynamic tracks to date, with a mix of arena-ready anthems (“The World I Used To Know“, Memories”, “Who Will Pray?”), their hardest hitting work ever (“Regenerate“, “Tear It Down”), and several songs that showcase the band in a truly unexpected and refreshing light (“12:30”, “Savior Of The Week”).
