The BCB is the governing authority for regulating and promoting the game of cricket in Bangladesh. Its Management Office is located at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur-2, Dhaka-1216. The BCB hereby invites full proposal along with quatation from reputed Sports TV Production Companies / Corporate Houses / Firms for delivering international standard sports TV production services for the ‘West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021” comprising of 02 Test Match and 03 ODIs to be held from 10 January - 16 February 2021. In this connection, BCB published an EOI (Expression of Interest) advertisement in the national daily newspapers on 26th December, 2020 to invites full proposal along with quatation from reputed Sports TV Production Companies / Corporate Houses / Firms for delivering international standard sports TV production services for the ‘West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021” comprising of 02 Test Match and 03 ODIs to be held from 10 January - 16 February 2021. FORMAT OF THE SERIES: “West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021” comprising of 02 Test Match and 03 ODIs. ICC standard Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket format will be followed. PARTICIPATING TEAM: The above mentioned series will be played between Bangladesh National Cricket Team (Men) and West Indies National Cricket Team (Men). TENURE OF THE SERVICE: The tenure of the Sports TV Production Service shall be for West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021. COMMENCEMENT OF SERIES: ‘West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021” be held from 10 January - 16 February 2021 as per following schedule (Tentative): Date Activities Venue 10 Jan. 2021 West Indies arrive in Dhaka - 18 Jan. 2021 One-day warm-up match BKSP, Savar 20 Jan. 2021 1st ODI SBNCS, Mirpur, Dhaka 22 Jan 2021 2nd ODI SBNCS, Mirpur, Dhaka 25 Jan 2021 3rd ODI ZACS, Chattogram 28-31 Jan 2021 4-day warm-up match MA Aziz Stadium, Chattogram 03- 07 Feb. 2021 1st Test ZACS, Chattogram 11-15 Feb. 2021 2nd Test SBNCS, Dhaka Note: This is a tentative itinerary. Number of matches are indicative and may increase or decrease. Type of Matches, Match timing, dates and venues are subject to change. Match schedule shall be finalized by BCB at its sole discretion. TOTAL MATCH: A total of five (05) matches include two (02) Test Match and three (03) ODIs will be played throughout the series. RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS : 1. TV production firm/company shall provide their services as the Official TV Production Company with Broadcast Equipment for the said event. 2. All the Equipment to be provided by TV production firm/company as mentioned above Shall be HD (High Definition) production delivery capable that is, it shall be capable of producing and transmitting the live feed of the Program from the Studio and the respective venue of the matches of Tournament in High Definition (hereinafter, collectively the “Equipment”). 3. TV production firm/company shall provide TV Production Services including Broadcast Equipment as per the detail provided in the above table. TV production firm/company must assure that all Crew and Engineering Services shall be the best as per industry and shall be provided in a professional manner. 4. As part of its services TV production firm/company shall provide various services as per the annexure of the agreement to be executed after necessary evaluation of proposal and awarding the work order. EOI Document | Sports TV Production Service I West Indies Team’s Tour of Bangladesh 2021 6 5. TV production firm/company shall provide commentators and anchors as per BCB’s preference. TV production firm/company shall provide a list of the commentators for prior approval of BCB prior to the said cricket Event. 6. TV production firm/company must strictly follow the health & safety guidelines imposed by the BCB/ICC during the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic situation. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: I. The eligible company should preferably have a comprehensive track record of providing professional Sports TV Production services worldwide. II. The company must have a minimum of 05 (Five) years working experience of providing International Standard Sports TV Production services worldwide and also in Bangladesh (especially international cricket events e.g. Bilateral Cricket Series/tournament, IPL, BPL etc.). EOI SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Details of EOI Submission Procedure will be available at BCB Management Office and on the BCB official website: www.tigercricket.com.bd The EOI along with quotation must be submitted at the BCB Management Office at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur-2, Dhaka -1216, Bangladesh by Monday, 4th January, 2021 and hard copy of EOI should be in a sealed envelope addressed to: Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Cricket Board. Interested overseas participant may submit the EOI along with quotation electronically via email at [email protected] THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE EOI: 1.
