The University has been upholding the best tradition of establishing rapport with the industry. It is a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. Pharmacists therefore are the experts on drug therapy and are the primary health professionals who optimize use of medication for the benefit of the patients. This requires them to keep abreast of development and advances in knowledge & technology related to manufacture and use of medicines, Professional Standard requirements and laws governing Pharmacy. I hope all the students of ANUCPS will maintain the professional ethics throughout their career to practice the pharmacy. The individual symbols in the crest are emblematically related to one another so as to suggest the upward evolution of the force from material plenitude and manifest reality towards spiritual magnificence and universal consciousness. The young initiated into knowledge at the University shall achieve identity, growth, self-differentiation and fulfillment in the various ascensions of intellectual and spiritual states shown in the symbolic scheme of the crest. Earlier accounts of random by social scientists (Hardgrave Jr. 1979, Hardgrave Jr. and Niedhart 1975, and Dickey 1993: 148-72) do not ponder long enough upon this basic question of how it is a response to the cinema. As a consequence, their work gives the impression that the fan is a product of everything (that is, religion, caste, language, political movements) but the cinema. This thesis expounds upon the making and meaning of masculinity in the Telugu Film Industry. This thesis identifies and examines the various intangible mechanisms, processes and ideologies that legitimise gender inequality in the industry. By extending the framework of the inequality regimes in the workplace (Acker 2006), gendered organisation theory (Williams et. al 2012) to an informal and creative industry, this thesis establishes the cyclical perpetuation (Bourdieu 2001) of a gender order. Specifically, this research identifies the various ideologies (such as caste and tradition), habituated audiences, and portrayals of ideal masculinity as part of a feedback loop that abet, reify and reproduce gender inequality.
