The Localism Act of 2011 gave new rights and powers to local communities which will help us to shape future development at a local level. This document has been prepared after several years of consultation, consideration, research and hard work, and we have endeavoured to ensure the policies in the Draft Plan provide a strong local framework to guide future development in the area. It is essential that the Neighbourhood Plan deals with the main issues facing our two parishes and this Plan has been put together against a background of the adopted Bromsgrove District Plan and the Green Belt Review.
