Lws 01 Packagerdeployguide R Welcome Use this document if you have purchased Creative Cloud desktop applications through an Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA), Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA), or the Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP). It provides basic information for IT admins on how to download, package, and deploy Creative Cloud apps through the Adobe Creative Cloud Packager. Getting Started To obtain the Creative Cloud applications, you must use Creative Cloud Packager. Creative Cloud Packager is a simple to use application that allows you to create customized packages containing the Creative Cloud desktop applications and the latest updates. These packages can then be easily deployed across your environment using a 3rd party deployment tool, imaging technique or direct (double click) install. The defined Adobe account IT administrator will need to use their login to download Creative Cloud Packager, obtain any applicable serial numbers (license keys), and log into the Packager to deploy Creative Cloud apps. 1. Sign in to the Adobe Licensing website (LWS) (http://licensing.adobe.com) to download Creative Cloud Packager. Download and use Creative Cloud Packager on a system that has no other Adobe software installed. 2. Retrieve your License Key by going to “License tab > Downloads”. Note: Creative Cloud applications use the same license key. The following products require an individual license key to deploy: Adobe Captivate , Adobe Presenter, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Premiere Elements, FrameMaker and RoboHelp. 3. If required, download additional applications not supported by Creative Cloud Packager. 4. Follow the deployment checklist. Deployment Checklist 1. Install Creative Cloud Packager on a system that has no other Adobe software installed. 2. Identify user groups and needs • Group name: Identify each user group that will use the software subscription. For example, one user group could be "photography" or "video production." • Applications needed: Create a list of apps required by each user group. • Platform: Identify the platform used to deploy (Windows, Mac, or both). 3. Determine how to manage updates. Options include: • Turn off updates; • Have updates come from an internal Adobe update server; • Use Creative Cloud Packager to update packages; • Enable updates and allow users to install themselves. 4. Package language • Multiple languages must be packaged separately. 5. Determine how users will get the package • Deploy using a 3rd party deployment tool such as Microsoft SCCM or JAMF Casper. • Use an imaging workflow. • Make the files available for a direct (double click) installation. 6. From the main Creative Cloud Packager screen, select the product you have purchased. For the purposes of this document, choose from the bottom three options. 7. Sign in using your Adobe ID 8. If you are using a License key to deploy then enter your Creative Cloud license key. If you are packaging Captivate, Presenter or Elements you will also enter these license keys here. 9. Create a package with your chosen configuration. 10. Deploy or install using your preferred method. We recommend you use a 3rd party deployment tool. However, you can also perform a direct (double-click) install or use an imaging based workflow.
