Convener of the committee constituted for the revision of Paper “Plant Diversity II” of B.Sc. (Gen) course of DU in 2004. Participated actively in various meetings called by the Parent Botany Department of the University for revision of Syllabus and formulation of Guidelines from time to time. • Teaching Methods Delivering class lectures as Power Point Presentations for the last many years. Relevant points are discussed in alternative modes such as dialogues and encourage students to ask cross questions to make the teaching more interactive, Interesting and enjoyable. Allocate class assignments and projects to students for the enhancement of their creative skill. Students are made aware of latest updates of the subject even beyond the framed syllabus to keep their interest in the subject alive. • Laboratory experiments Simplified versions of Practical Experiments are designed for better understanding of students. Difficult experiments are repeated to enhance the confidence of students that results in their better performance during exams. • Evaluation Methods Class tests, assignments, mock practical exams and final Exams are conducted as per DU guidelines. • Preparation of resource material including books, reading materials Laboratory manuals etc. Contributed to the Workshop Manual for Teachers of Biology Laboratory Course (Course Code:BY106) of revised B.Sc. Programme I Yr jointly organized by Departments of Botany, Zoology and Biochemistry, Daulat Ram College and Institute of Lifelong Learning, University of Delhi from Sept.2-4, 2008.
