Technology is rapidly making stamps as we know them obsolete. The term 'postage stamps' in this section implies stamps sold either from counter sheets of, say, 50 or 100 identical or se-tenant stamps, or in coils (rolls) by the official national postal service only and not stamps from any other issuer or in any other format, which may all be found listed elsewhere in this handbook.
