NSSE 2019 Selected Comparison Groups Regent University IPEDS: 231651 NSSE 2019 Selected Comparison Groups About This Report Comparison Groups The NSSE Institutional Report displays core survey results for your students alongside those of three comparison groups. In May, your institution was invited to customize these groups via a form on the Institution Interface. This report summarizes how your comparison groups were constructed and lists the institutions within them. NSSE comparison groups may be customized by (a) identifying specific institutions from the list of all 2018 and 2019 NSSE participants, (b) composing the group by selecting institutional characteristics, or (c) a combination of these. Institutions that chose not to customize received default groupsa that provide relevant comparisons for most institutions. Institutions that appended additional question sets in the form of Topical Modules or through consortium participation were also invited to customize comparison groups for those reports. The default for those groups was all other 2018 and 2019 institutions where the questions were administered. Please note: Comparison group details for Topical Module and consortium reports are documented separately in those reports. Student Satisfaction Inventory Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory was administered to Vanguard traditional undergraduate TU studentsG in Spring 2019. In total, 289 students participated; 164 Female and 39 Male; 28.5% freshmen, 22.9% sophomores, 19.6% juniors, and 26.7% seniors. The IPEDS comparison group includes: Azusa Pacific University, California Baptist University, Evangel University, George Fox University, Gordon College, Northwest University, Point Loma Nazarene University, Southeastern University, University of Valley Forge, and Wheaton College. VUSC 2019 results are shown in NAVY BLUE | National 4 Year Privates in YELLOW | IPEDS Comparison Group in RED VUSC 2016 results are shown in GREY and are only provided when there was a significant change between 2016 and 2019 Overall student satisfaction at Vanguard is relatively high but is decreasing. 2020 National Convention Program
Since 1922, the purpose of Alpha Chi has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction. Alpha Chi accepts only students who place in the top ten percent of their class from all academic disciplines. With some 300 chapters, located in almost every state, the organization inducts approximately 10,000 members annually. The Alpha Chi Constitution & Bylaws is our governing document. The National Council is the planning and executive arm of Alpha Chi. Its membership varies but includes a constitutional minimum of eight faculty members elected by the National Convention, seven other faculty who are regional secretary-treasurers, and seven students representing their regions. From the faculty members on the Council are elected the three national officers: president, vice president, and secretary. Along with the executive director, who serves ex officio, these compose the executive committee. An electronic copy of this publication can be viewed at WCUCOM website. Policies, requirements, and information in this WCUCOM Student Handbook and Catalog may be updated from time to time by the WCUCOM at its sole discretion. Changes will be distributed to students, and will become effective immediately unless otherwise specified. Changes will be posted online quarterly as addenda on the WCUCOM website with appropriate notifications to the respective stakeholders. All changes cited as addenda throughout a given academic year will be incorporated into the parent document for the upcoming academic year. All inquiries regarding the WCUCOM Student Handbook and Catalog should be directed to the Office of the WCUCOM Associate Dean, Student Affairs at 601.318.6290. Any recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes must be submitted in writing to the WCUCOM Dean.
