Fans will have the unique and unprecedented opportunity to celebrate the album with Lisa Marie Presley and join with her to listen, for the first time at Graceland, to her powerful and emotional duet with her father on the title track, along with 13 other gospel performances featuring legendary Presley backing vocalists, including Darlene Love, Cissy Houston, and members of The Imperials and The Stamps Quartet. It is a classifcation of a broad range of harmonizing, country- tinged Christian music that originated in the southeastern part of the United States. Some Southern gospel is lovely and spiritual and seeks not to entertain the fesh but to edify the spirit. (Tere are also quartets that are not Southern gospel in style; an example is the Old Fashioned Revival Hour Quartet that was featured on Charles Fuller’s radio program.) We praise the Lord for all Christian music, Southern or otherwise, which doesn’t sound like the world, which has scriptural lyrics, which seeks solely to glorify Jesus Christ and edify the saints, and which is produced by faithful Christians.

Alternative titles: “Ain' go'n' to study war no mo'”, “Ain't gonna grieve my Lord no more”, “Ain't Gwine to Study War No More”, “Down by de Ribberside”, “Down by the River”, “Down by the Riverside”, “Going to Pull My War-Clothes” and “Study war no more” A very old spiritual that was originally known as Study War No More. It started out as a song associated with the slaves’ struggle for freedom, but after the American Civil War (1861-65) it became a very high-spirited peace song for people who were fed up with fighting.1 And the folk singer Pete Seeger notes on the record “Waist Deep in the Big Muddy and Other Love Songs”, that: "'Down by the Riverside' is, of course, one of the oldest of the Negro spirituals, coming out of the South in the years following the Civil War."2 But is the song as we know it today really as old as it is claimed without any sources? The earliest printed version of “Ain't gonna study war no more” is from 1918; while the notes to the song were published in 1902 as music to a love song by John J. When he was 13 his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating there he took odd jobs like such as a truck driver. At that time he sang locally as “The Hillbilly cat”. In a short time period, he signed a contract with a local recording company and later on with RCA recording company. He established early rock and roll by bringing black blues to the white. Girls became hysterical over his sexual gyrations. One in particular got him named Elvis the pelvis, so cameras weren't allowed to film him under the waist. The hillbilly cat WHAT HAPPENED? After the 33 movies he starred in he disappeared. It has been a mystery where he has been for quite a while. Now it is known that he settled in his Graceland mansion. He made a comeback in the 1970 s’. That year he sold out over 57 shows in Las Vegas. He toured around USA and made over 500 live appearances. At the end of the tour the stress and the gain of kilograms took their toll. He died 16 august 1977 in his Graceland mansion. FAMILY He married Priscilla Presley with whom he had 1 child. His daugthter is Lisa Marie Presley. He also has a granddaughter named Riley Keough. Twinbrother Jesse Garon Presley who died at birth.
