Ordered, That following Leader remarks on Monday, November 27, 2017, the Senate proceed to executive session and resume consideration of the nomination of Dabney Langhorne Friedrich, of California, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, with the time until 5:30 p.m., equally divided between the two leaders or their designees. Ordered further, That at 5:30 p.m., the Senate vote on confirmation of the Friedrich nomination. Ordered further, That if the Friedrich nomination is confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid on the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate’s actions. Ordered further, That notwithstanding the provisions of Rule XXII, the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Gregory G. Katsas, of Virginia, to be United States Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit, ripen following disposition of the Friedrich nomination.
