The Mid-Western Region covers an area of more than 9,000 square kilometres and includes the historic towns of Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos, in addition to many rural villages. The region stretches from the Wollemi National Park in the east to Lake Burrendong in the west, the Goulburn River National Park in the north and to the Macquarie and Turon Rivers in the south. The Mid-Western Region has the best of metropolitan style conveniences, whilst maintaining the safe, clean, affordable, comfortable and convenient lifestyle of a friendly country community.
