Day 9 : Kumbakonam – Thirunallar – Chidambaram After Morning Breakfast check out and drive to Chidambaram. On the way to visit Thirunallar, thillai nataraja temple, thillai kali amman temple, pichavaram mangrove forest, shopping and own activities, etc. Then drive to check in hotel. Overnight Stay at Chidambaram. Day 10 : Chidambaram – Pondicherry After Morning Breakfast check out and drive to Pondicherry. After check in hotel, Proceed to visit arulmigu manakula vinayagar temple, church of the sacred heart of jesus, bharati government park, french war memorial, sri varadharaja perumal temple, auroville beach, shopping and own activities, etc. Later return back to hotel. Overnight Stay at Pondicherry. www.teachersteam.in PREFACE Learning in the classroom cannot be a joyful experience for the child unless we change our perception of the child as a receiver of knowledge and unless we move beyond the conven- tional use of the text book as the basis for examination. The present CCE mode of curriculum has evolved from State Curriculum Framework (SCF) 2011. Here the teacher is a facilitator. Gone are the days when the children open their mouths in the classroom only to answer the few questions posed by the teacher. Gone are the days when only the teacher dominates the entire class. The CCE mode of learning is activity based learning through Projects, Assignments and through real life situations which bring the society at large into the classroom as stated by SCF-2011 : Children's life at school must be linked to their life outside the school. Thus projects are part and parcel of classroom learning. As we are all aware, projects are a set of activities in which students understand the concept thoroughly, collectively collect relevant information and ar- rive at certain conclusions. Projects, done in groups, as they should be, develop skills in Aca- demic Standards such as Communication, Problem Solving, Connection with other subjects and Representation & Visualization. In this book, suggestible projects are presented class wise, subject wise, chapter wise and concept wise. The teacher plays a vital role in making the students do the projects. He/she should have a thorough understanding of the projects before they are taken into the classroom. The projects should be clearly explained to the students so that they are done with complete comprehension and with keen interest. -
Jai Karunamayi Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha
Situated on the seventh hilltop of Tirumala, and located about 60 miles south of Amma’s Penusila Ashram, is the temple of Lord Venkateswara—the most visited place of worship in the world, and center of Hinduism. Lord Venkateswara, or Balaji as He is commonly known, is a form of Lord Vishnu who out of His Love for all incarnated in this age, the Kali Yuga, to uplift and relieve the suffering of humanity. His name translates as the Destroyer of Sins, and Lord Venkateswara (left) is praised unequivocally in the Hindu scriptures as the one who grants all kinds of wealth, and who can be sought for attaining moksha, or spiritual liberation. The murti, or statue, of the Lord found here stands majestically at 8 feet in height, adorned with gold and diamond ornaments. More exceptional yet, the deity itself is Svayambhu, or self born—no sculptor is credited with creating or installing the form of the Lord found here, rather it is a manifestation of the Divine. Devotees find peace and indescribable bliss in Lord Venkateswara’s company—it is difficult to imagine a greater blessing in one’s lifetime than to behold His glory in Amma’s Divine Presence. The Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple houses the awe-inspiring Deity and is located on the Venkatadri hilltop, which is believed to be part of a celestial mountain brought to the earth from Lord Vishnu’s heavenly realm, Vaikunta. The ancient shrine has its roots in Vaishnavism, a sect of Hinduism advocating the principles of equality and love. In 2007, the temple surpassed the Vatican as the most visited place of worship, and today it hosts anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 visitors, daily—a number which soars up to 500,000 during festival times. -

Temples within Chennai City 1 As the famous Tamil poetess AUVAYYAR says in Her Legendary presentation of cluster of hymns “Kovil illatha ooril kudi irukkathe” Please don’t reside in a place where there is no temple. The Statement of our forefathers is sacrosanct because the temple indicates that the community is graced by the presence of God and that its Citizens form a moral community. A Community identifies and is identified by others with its temples. It has been our ancient endavour to lead a pious life with full dedication to the services of the Lord. Sri Paramacharya of Kanchi Mutt has repeatedly called devotees and stressed the importance of taking care of old temples - which requires enormous power of men and money - instead of constructing new temples in cities. As you may be aware, there are thousands of temples in dilapidated condition and requires constant maintenance work to be undertaken. There are many shiva lingas of ancient temples found under trees and also while digging. In ancient times, these lingas were 'Moolavars' of temples built by several kings. After conquests and devastations by foreign invaders, Indian temples were destructed and the sacred deities were thrown away and many were broken. The left out deities are found later. Of them, some are unidentified. Those who attempt to construct temples for gods are freed from the sins of a thousand births. Those who think of building a temple in their minds are freed from the sins of a hundred births. Those who contribute to the cause of a temple are bestowed with divine virtues and blessings. -

NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS Dear Member(s), Sub. : Transfer of Equity Shares of the Company to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Suspense Account As you are aware, dividend declared by the Company is remitted either electronically or by sending dividend warrants to the registered address of the eligible shareholders. As per Section 124(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, all unpaid or unclaimed dividends for a period of seven years are required to be transferred by the Company to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) established by the Central Government. We regularly upload on our website as also on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, full details of such unpaid or unclaimed dividends before transferring to IEPF. Further, Section 124(6) requires that all shares in respect of which unpaid or unclaimed dividend has been transferred to IEPF, shall also be transferred to IEPF. Ministry of Corporate Affairs has recently notified “Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016” [Rules] which have come into force from September 7, 2016. The said Rules, amongst other matters, contain provisions for transfer of all shares in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed for seven consecutive years or more, in the name of ‘IEPF Suspense Account’. As per the records, you have not en-cashed your dividends for seven continuous years and accordingly, in terms of the above Rules, your shares are liable to be transferred to IEPF. You are requested to immediately claim your unpaid dividends and avoid the transfer of your shares to IEPF by sending following documents to us or to M/s Bigshare Services Private Limited., Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTA) of the Company at the address mentioned in this letter, on or before 28.02.2017: 1.
