UFC Rumors: Jose Aldo to Retire? UFC rumors: Jose Aldo to retire? Author : Robert D. Cobb As UFC is prepping for the upcoming events through the end of the year, there is one fighter who is getting angry with them and is asking for his release. FOX Sports reported that interim featherweight champion Jose Aldo is getting pissed off with the excuses and lies about his rematch with Conor McGregor. As a result of UFC coming up with excuses and lies, he is now asking for his release from the UFC as a result. It has come down to now that he is asking for his release or he will end up retiring from the UFC. He spoke with Combate in Brazil after the news broke about McGregor wouldn't be returning to 145 pounds and would instead be facing Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title at UFC 205. To make the situation even worse for Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor will retain his featherweight title for at least one more fight while they are making Aldo left holding onto his strap that he ended up winning at UFC 200 earlier this summer over Frankie Edgar. He is upset after the UFC would end up offering him a fight on the UFC 205 card to fight either Max Holloway or Anthony Pettis and they are also refusing to strip Conor of the title as it was promised. I fully understand why Jose Aldo is upset at UFC. Conor McGregor is a big draw for them and basically, is holding UFC captive. But I can see why he is upset at them as they promised him one thing and are going against what they said they were going to do. It was reported too that Dana White would end up forcing McGregor to drop one of his titles if he can defeat Eddie Alvarez at the UFC 205. However, now he will allow McGregor to hold the featherweight title for one more fight. They want to do this to allow Conor to make history. UFC 205 is happening in November and will feature Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez. I wish Jose Aldo all the best as his future is still uncertain in the UFC. 1 / 1 Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org).

FS1 UFC TONIGHT Show Quotes and Videos – 12/6/17 BISPING PICKS SWANSON: “CUB IS TOO MUCH ON THE FEET.” Florian on if GSP Defends His Middleweight Title: “I don’t see it happening.” Bisping and Florian discuss GSP’s potential move to welterweight, Holloway’s next opponent, plus if Ronda Rousey signs with the WWE Los Angeles – UFC TONIGHT was hosted by Kenny Florian and guest host Michael Bisping, with Karyn Bryant adding reports. The crew previewed this weekend’s FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: SWANSON VS. ORTEGA and interviewed headliners Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega. UFC TONIGHT Kenny Florian believes Georges St-Pierre’s won’t fight at 185 again: “I spoke to him this morning. He has ulcerative colitis and he’s lost a lot of weight. For him to fight at 185 again, I don’t see it happening. He also told me he doesn’t want to hold up the division. If he does come back, I imagine it’ll be at a lighter weight class.” UFC TONIGHT guest host Michael Bisping on GSP not defending the middleweight belt: “I wish him the best. It would have been nice to see him defend the belt at 185.” VIDEO: Florian and Bisping discuss Georges St-Pierre not staying at 185 https://twitter.com/UFCONFOX/status/938573229538422785 Florian on if Max Holloway will ever fight Conor McGregor: “It depends on the weight class. At 145, I’d say it’s a 10-percent chance. But at 155 pounds, I’d say 75-percent. Holloway is still a growing boy.” Bisping on if Holloway will rematch McGregor: “Do I want to see it happen? Yes.

  • BREAKING NEWS: Rafael Dos Anjos Pulls out of Main Event Fight with Connor Mcgregor at UFC 196
BREAKING NEWS: Rafael dos Anjos Pulls Out of Main Event Fight With Connor McGregor at UFC 196 Author : Robert D. Cobb LAS VEGAS, Nevada- A broken foot has caused Rafael dos Anjos to withdraw from next week's UFC 196 main event fight against Conor McGregor for the Lightweight Championship. It was a huge fight that had the entire sports world buzzing. Thus far no replacement has been named but several names are currently being thrown around. Frankie Edgar has been asking for a shot at 145 against McGregor for quite some time and this may be his chance if he is willing to fight on short notice. A rematch for the 145 belt with Jose Aldo would be a huge money maker as was the original, however the chance of Aldo taking a fight on short notice are slim to none. There is more of a chance of that happening at UFC 200 in Dallas. McGregor, the current featherweight champion, was on the verge of history, as he was hoping to become the first fighter in the promotion's history to hold two belts at the same. If anyone could do it, it was him as he has been as close to unstoppable as possible since his entrance into the UFC. As mentioned by me yesterday, in regards to Donald Cerrone, this may be his chance to step into a big fight as well at 170 with McGregor. I would not be shocked to see that occur. If no replacement for Rafeal dos Anjos is named, the UFC will scratch the main event and promote the Holly Holm vs.
