Mr. Richards has a 3 o'clock appointment. "Come on in, he'll be here in a minute," an assistant says — and here he comes in a minute, at 3:01. This from a man who once prided himself for operating on Keith Time, as in: the security staff ate the shepherd's pie that Keith wanted in his dressing room? Then everyone in this packed stadium can bloody well wait. The Rolling Stones don't play until another shepherd's pie shows up. Chalk up the promptness to the man's new incarnation: he is now Keith Richards, distinguished author. True, he is far from the only rock star to turn memoirist, and far from the only Rolling Stone to write a book about himself — very much about himself. The raven-haired Ron Wood wrote "Ronnie," in which he described Brian Jones as "me in a blond wig." Bill Wyman, the band's retired bass player and bean counter, wrote "Stone Alone," in which not a 15-shilling demo disc went unmentioned.

    Beatles Cover Albums during the Beatle Period As a companion to the Hollyridge Strings page, this page proposes to be a listing of (and commentary on) certain albums that were released in the United States between 1964 and April 1970. Every album in this listing has a title that indicates Beatles-related content and/or a cover that is a parody of a Beatles cover. In addition, the content of every album listed here is at least 50% Beatles-related (or, in the case of albums from 1964, "British"). Albums that are not included here include, for example, records named after a single Beatles song but which contain only a few Beatles songs: for example, Hey Jude, Hey Bing!, by Bing Crosby. 1964: Nineteen-sixty-four saw the first wave of Beatles cover albums. The earliest of these were released before the release of "Can't Buy Me Love." They tended to be quickly-recorded records designed to capitalize rapidly on the group's expanding success. Therefore, most of these albums are on small record labels, and the records themselves tended to be loaded with "filler." Possibly, the companies were not aware of the majority of Beatle product. CAFÉ - DAY The first morning of the new school year. In a Paris café, leaning on the bar, FRANÇOIS, 35 or so, peacefully sips coffee. In the background, we can vaguely make out a conversation about the results of the presidential election. François looks at his watch and seems to take a deep breath as if stepping onto a stage. EXT. STREET - DAY François comes out of the café. Across the street, we discover a large building whose slightly outdated façade is not particularly welcoming. He walks over to the imposing entrance that bears the shield of the City of Paris in wrought iron and beneath which we read “JAURES MIDDLE SCHOOL”. On the opposite sidewalk, coming from the other end of the street, a small group of teachers hurries towards the entrance. François hears them joking. VINCENT He’s a really great guy, not the back- slapping type but… François greets them in passing. INT. CORRIDORS - SCHOOL - DAY We discover the school’s deserted corridors. Through the doorway of a classroom, François sees a few cleaners who, in a very calm atmosphere, clean the tables and line them up neatly, wash the windows… A short distance further on, a man in overalls applies one last coat of paint to an administrative notice board.
