​Thaiboy Digitals Mumble-Rap Tager Dig Til En Anden 2020-04-16 11:00 CEST Thaiboy Digitals mumble-rap tager dig til en anden galakse VEGA & Smash!Bang!Pow præsenterer Thaiboy Digitals mumble-rap tager dig til en anden galakse Lille VEGA bliver lørdag den 28. november hyldet i drømmende rap, når Thaiboy Digital inviterer ind i sit univers. 24-årige Thanapat Thaothawong, bedre kendt som Thaiboy Digital, har efter mere end seks år i musikbranchen oplevet det meste og lidt til. De svenske myndigheder udviste ham 10 år efter, at han var flyttet fra Thailand til Sverige som 8-årig. En afstand på 10.000 kilometer er heldigvis ingen hindring i vores digitale tider, så Thaiboy Digital er fortsat med at lave musik med sine venner i kunstnerkollektivet Drain Gang. Kollektivet består blandt andre af producerne Yung Sherman og Whitearmor og rapperne Bladee og Ecco2K samt Yung Lean. I 2019 udgav Thaiboy Digital albummet Legendary Member, som tydeliggjorde, hvor stor en udvikling han har gennemgået som rapper siden sin debut i med mixtapet ส Tiger i 2014. Lyt blandt andet til singlen ”Beijing (prod. Gud + Whitearmor)” fra det nye album. Thaiboy Digitals lydunivers er pastelfarvet og glossy på overfladen, men modig og melankolsk når du lyttere efter. Skrøbelige melodier og toner på grænsen til nedbrud bliver mixet med overmættede basslinjer og vokaler. Hans artikulation svajer mellem øm pillow-talk og skødesløse semi-trusler. Forbered dig på en tur på uden for galaksen. Drain Gangs udspil Trash Island fra 2019 har også et heftigt Thaiboy Digital vokal-aftryk. Han er med i syv ud af otte sange.
