Cedar - Box #7 - Ottawa, Kan. 66067 - Phone 785-248-2610 - [email protected] - The Coaches - (Ottawa - Marc Gordon) Coach Gordon is in his fifth season as head coach of the Lady Brave women’s soccer program. The 2013 Lady Braves produced another excellent season under Gordon’s leadership, finishing with an overall record of 13-7-2 and a KCAC record of 7-1- 1. OU finished in the top three in the KCAC for the seventh straight Braves Ottawa University Swedes season and played in the KCAC Tournament Championship game for Record:0-9-0, 0-0-0 Record: 2-7-0, 0-0-0 the fifth time time in seven years. OU won the KCAC championship Last Game: vs. Avila, L 3-2 (2OT) vs. Last Game: at Benedictine game and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for the second Coach: Jon DeSha Coach: Shane Taylor time, third time in program history, in the Gordon era. The Lady Braves Career/OU Record: Career/BTHY Record: had seven players earn All-KCAC honors with Taylor Mays being named Same/5-19-4 Bethany College NA/2-7-0 KCAC Defensive Player of the Year. OU excelled in the classroom as well. Kessler and Surage earned Capital Record: 4-2-3, 0-0-0 Record: 2-7-0, 0-0-0 One Academic All-District 3 First Team honors and Kessler was named Last Game: vs. Avila, W 1-0 Last Game: at Baker L, 3-1 a Capital One Second Team All-American College Division. The Lady Coach: Marc Gordon Coach: Sean McMannis Braves finished the season ranked eighth in the NAIA in total shutouts Career/OU Record: Career/BTHY Record: (11) and ninth in shutouts per game (0.5). 180-97-15/55-26-10 Same/21-38-1 (Ottawa - Jon DeSha) Coach Jon DeSha is in his second season as - The Lady Braves won their last time out, 1-0, over Avila University. The Braves had success in the classroom as well with Casey Waniska earning Daktronic Scholar Athlete honors. Off of the pitch the Braves - The Lady Braves lead the all-time series record against the Swedes 11-9-0. OU fell in the regular season last year to Bethany, helped out in the community as well, volunteering at the New Horizon 2-1. The two teams met again, this time in the KCAC Tournament with OU winning that match 2-0. Ranch in Rantoul, Kan. and donating uniforms to Children for a New Haiti. - The Lady Braves are led in scoring by Caroline Jenkins with five goals. Autumn Surage leads OU in assists with three. Jenkins (BETHY-MSOC- Shane Taylor) Shane Taylor joined the Bethany College also leads the Lady Braves in shots with 33 and shots on goal with 18.
