Situated along the Arts Avenue District, this area has been inundated with a healthy mix of redevelopment and preservation of Nashville’s rich history and historic buildings. 501 Union is steps from local art galleries Tinney Contemporary and Rymer Gallery, Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant, Frothy Monkey, Starbucks, Woolworth on 5th, the Arcade and many more. LOCATION Located in the heart of the central business district, 501 Union Street is adjacent to a staggering 15,000,000 square feet of office space that will grow to just under 19,000,000 by 2021. According to the Tennessean, 9 new hotels have also opened in the last year alone adding a surplus of 1,380 rooms to downtown Nashville’s healthy supply. New development is further fueled by record tourism spending numbers announced by Governor Bill Haslam; $20.7 billion in 2017 with $6.5 billion in direct visitor spending in Davidson County alone. With a walkscore of 95, described as a “walker’s paradise,” the hard corner of Union and 5th Avenue North is just 2 blocks from Capital Hill, 3 blocks from the live action of Broadway’s honky tonks and Bridgestone Arena and 4 blocks from the 1.2 million square foot Music City Convention Center that welcomed 560,000 attendees in 2017.
