Our mission is to educate, entertain, enlighten and inspire through the art and skill of juggling. We have free weekly meetings from 7 - 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Little 5 Points Center for Arts & Community. We get together to learn and teach the art of juggling. Our members teach juggling at local public libraries in the Atlanta area, the Renaissance Fair in April and May, many schools and senior centers. Some members work as hospital clowns at children's hospitals through Humorology Atlanta. Festival Rules ● No flash photography anytime. Videotaping and photographing for your personal use are okay as long as you have the permission of your subjects. The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Band opens the show. The juggling competition is a free show and lasts about an hour and a half. The judges confer after all the competitors finish and we award the trophies at the end of the show. Registered jugglers and audience have a chance to win some great raffle prizes during the show/competition. Jugglers get a raffle ticket with their registration. Everyone can buy raffle tickets at the registration desk for a dollar each or 7 for $5. Rules for the juggling competition are simple -- each competitor has 4 minutes, anything goes (NO FIRE!).There must be toss-juggling somewhere within the 4-min routine. Judges are selected from the audience and their only qualification is "no knowledge of juggling". Saturday night cabaret: A variety show on Saturday night at 9 PM at the Yaarab Shrine Center. Admission is $10 (free for registered jugglers). Tickets are available at our registration table on Friday and Saturday. Sunday night dinner: Eat at Panahar Bangladeshi Cuisine, 3375 Buford Hwy, Atlanta (about 10 miles from the Yaarab Shrine Center) Meal costs about $20 per person for family style full meal with BYOB - all jugglers and their families are welcome. Sign up on Sunday afternoon at the registration table so we can get a head count.) Please bring a refillable water bottle. We have one food vendor confirmed this year inside the building. They are selling chicken skewers, chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and snacks. For drinks: Bubble tea, Thai tea, sodas, water, Yerba maté and snacks will be available in the break room throughout the festival for all registered festival participants. There are also plenty of restaurants and food options nearby within walking distance. Hula hoops acquire much popularity both abroad and in Ukraine, and are used not only in school, gymnastics and emotional pleasure, but also in a circus and juggling sports. Also highlights the main directions in the juggling with their features and how the juggling acts itself directly on human health. Also will be examined where this fascinating art form came to us, how it developed, and what kinds acquired in the present. There is no country where people would not be interested in juggling. There are a lot of conventions and juggling competitions, where people come from all over the world and share experiences with each other. But it should be noted, that there aren’t so much professional juggling schools. And if we talk about juggling by hula hoops, we can admit that there aren’t so much real experts in this field. Peter Bon, Tony Buzan in collaboration with Michael J. Gelb, Luke Burridge, Alexander Kiss, Paul Koshel and many others have written about all kinds of juggling, but left unattended hula hoops juggling.
