09:30 - 10:30 Introduction (Stiglitz , Noman) A broad introduction to the meeting: motivation, key issues, goals and discussion /fine-tuning of the agenda

10:30-12:00 Fairness and Justice: Multiple Dimensions (Agnew, Broome , Munasinghe) Discussion of the key dimensions of fairness and justice in the climate arena. This will include a fair and equitable global deal, promoting , and paying attention to the interests/concerns of the poor.

12:00-13:00 Lunch in the adjacent Bridgeford Street Building first floor mezzanine

13:00-15:00 Beyond Copenhagen (Bhattacharya, Stern ) Review of the major developments at and after Copenhagen and their implications for the future of climate negotiations, and for addressing developmental impact, fairness and justice in the climate regime. Alternative frameworks and proposals.

15:30-17:00 A Fair Global Deal (Figueres , Stern) What would a fair global deal look like? What are the key elements that would constitute a ‘fair deal’? How do we think about trade-offs and prioritization across these elements? How do current major proposals on the table measure up? Can we craft a new proposal that may be more politically feasible? How could we promote this?
