Welcome to Madrid The Cruz Blanca de Vallecas is a prestigious restaurant that has been serving the best Spanish cuisine dishes since 2005. Madrid stew, Asturian bean stew or rabbit in garlic are some of the delicacies that can also be savoured on its terrace. Located in the popular Palomeras neighbourhood in Vallecas, the establishment boasts three different atmospheres with a capacity for 140 diners: the bar-cafeteria, and two lounges decorated in a rustic style with exposed brick walls, wooden tables and seats and a ceramic floor. The third area is a terrace where tapas and portions can be savoured. Many famous people have visited the establishment, even the former King Juan Carlos I. Its chef, Antonio Cosmen Menéndez from Asturias, has created a menu offering typical traditional cuisine dishes prepared with the finest ingredients and the utmost care. The restaurant won the Spanish Food Prize 2016, the National Catering Award 2015, Second Prize for the Best Asturian Bean Stew in Madrid 2017 and the Best Madrid Stew in Spain, awarded by the Friends of Stew Club.
