It would probably be easier to list what she doesn't do. And she appears alongside Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell in the film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Not Good, Very Bad Day (say ten times fast), which opens tomorrow. I sat down with her and got a scoop on her hair, makeup, and of course fake blood. Your hair at New York Fashion Week looked so cool. Who did it? My hairdresser Castillo. It makes my hair for everything. It's all corned beef and then braided. He actually whipped it up very quickly. I was worried about looking at photographing dramatically, but I wanted to go very different to Jeremy Scott- I tended to be pretty crazy updos. We were actually going to make purple and green stripes through it, but then we couldn't because it would take too long. Is that your natural hair color? A lot of people don't know I'm not really a redhead. I'm blonde. I painted it for Big Love. It all started over a deeper red, and Disney was like, why don't we take Bella all the way to blonde again? I don't know why, but I had a breakdown and so overreacted. I wanted to go back to red. What is your beauty routine like? I got up. I wash my face. I use a pink Neutrogena grapefruit to wash and then I use daily puff pores. I really love Neutrogena's Sleek Color Stick in a very berry. It's natural and moisturizes, and it just goes really light. I also love Aquaphor. It's the best way to go. Then I either put my hair in a ponytail or leave it down in its natural wave, which is pretty pressive. I'm wearing jeans and a T-shirt. What's the craziest beauty thing you had to do for the role? I was working on the set of Amityville and they were doing the wounds on my face and they used this sugar and blood cleansers and I had all. They're on my cheeks, on my forehead, on my chin, over my lip, on my eyebrows, all over my face. It's all kinds of ratchet. And it's just totally scared of my skin. I've had thousands of bumps. And they clean it with oil and alcohol, so it's like the worst thing you could do for your skin. I had to go to Dr. Lancer's, so I finally got my skin back on track. But these wounds look realistic. It's so cool. I really love doing these scenes. Bella Thorne that debuted bright pink hair, and the bright color has a major summer vibe. Former Former There have been so many hair-changing windows lately, she has practically become the new reigning queen of celebrity hair chameleons. The 19-year-old took to Snapchat on Wednesday to record her complete evolution. She starts by saying goodbye to her blonde hair, with a photo captioned blonde disappear. She then shared a photo of herself getting her hair dyed. Finally, she shows her newly colored hair with several images, including one that reads My Whole Head of This Color... It's too late to turn back now! The pink hue is very bright, resembling something straight from Barbie's dream home. But hey - bright neon hair is clearly a trend these days. Just take a look at the mermaid Halsey teal locks that she's been rocking all over town lately. Let's face it, colorful braids just feel so summer. Thorne is no stranger to hair transformation. The actress wore red hair for as long as we knew her before trying black, green, blue and blonde hair. The real shocker is that Thorne is actually a natural blonde. This means that the orangy-red hue we are used to seeing her in is just the work of a good colorist. If you really want to see all the wild hair looks the actress has rocked in the past, just check out her Instagram. Let's look at the whole process of fiery fuchsia locks, right? Here's to the photo. While blonde. Here's Thorne during the act. And here's the photo. Wow.That sure pink. I'm not even going to lie, I like it. In some ways, 18-year-old Bella Thorne seems to be at least a decade old after her years. The actress and singer packed the full cost of career film and television roles at the 13 years she was in business. But in many ways the scarlet star is an ordinary teenager on the edge of adulthood, experimenting with her gaze and learning to embrace her flaws. Well, the usual may be an exaggeration. For one thing, the turn makeup game is definitely the next level. We got a chance to talk to Thorne in honor of Bert's Bee #LoveYourNature a campaign that features Bert's new bee lipstick ($9) and encourages consumers to embrace what makes them unique. With Bella, we talked about wigs and glitter and learn not to give a sch about what other people think. Keep scrolling to read all about her makeup secrets, inspiration and more! Image/@bellathorne on her Celebrity Inspiration BYRDIE: Your makeup skills are serious at the point these days. Where do you get your inspiration? BELLA TORN: It depends. Sometimes I just like to try new things. I get things sent to me from some of the best brands of all time. I'm so lucky that I get to try my stuff and work it out in my Snapchat story and tell everyone what's new, what I like and what I don't like. I didn't really get the tricks out of the set. you know the movie very, very different. You're literally just just under the eyes is concealer and mascara and they won't put anything else on you, so I don't get a lot of lessons this way. I watch a lot of tutorials on Instagram. I just started after all the new cool bloggers who are after this kind of stuff, so I learned some things from there. Sometimes I look after Tumblr or Pinterest, and sometimes I see something like, hey, what is it? Let me see if I can try to re-create that in some way. So that's how I do it. BYRDIE: Do you have a favorite makeup account that you follow? BT: Hold on, let me go on my Insta... Jeffrey Star. I love it on Insta. He has so many great Instagrams and his stuff is very beautiful. Besides, Hood beauty- I follow her. She sells such great products and does really interesting things. BYRDIE: What are some of your favorite makeup trends right now? Are there any favorites? BT: It's so weird. I don't like it when people are lashing out, so you see short ones on the outside. I say: Why? Why would I do that? Why do I want this eyelash to look so short? It doesn't even make sense. I think it's for a baby eye doll? I'm not really down for this look. I have almond-shaped eyes, so I'm all about a fierce cat eye-type look. Even if I make a smoky eye, it will still have a very cat shape to it. I'm also not a fan of lip gloss. It's just not my style. I never wear lip gloss. I don't like the texture; I don't like it being in my hair all the time. I always turn my hair back and forth, so it's horrible. Now, what do I like? I learned this trick that is really interesting. You know when you put eyeliner in your waterliner to the bottom? So, instead of completely going all the way around, start at the outer edge of your water line and stop; Then go to the other side of the eye and just leave the middle part white. Then fill it with a nude liner. Basically it just makes the ends of the eye look sharper, but the middle part is still open. What you're doing is lining it all up closes your eyes. You sew your eyelashes, and everything looks smaller. So you leave the middle of it white or nude, so you still have a big eye, but he is still sexy and feline. @bellathorne experiment with BYRDIE makeup: It's such a good trick! What is your favorite makeup you've ever done on yourself? BT: It's hard! There was one I posted on my Instagram where I was like, I'll be creating this look on my Snapchat soon. It was one of the times I went and I did my beat by me, which is when I actually do my own makeup on the carpet. It was a cool look. I talk about my lip all the time. You know, I like to use Bertha bees because it's all natural and inside Moisturizer. I'm one of those people who's always picking up on my my because I'm so obsessed with smooth, moisturized lips. So it's better. I always do a bold lip. I'm also looking at this one Instagram photo right now and my caption: I really miss my makeup tutorials and I wear two hearts on my eye. For example, I'm all about using body baubles in makeup, like, random things that you can put on your face. People are just like, Oh, Coachella! Coachella! But I don't give f ck about Coachella. I'm going to wear this sh-t out; I'm going to make it part of my daily routine! So I literally wear body baubles, and about when I hang out with my friends. I have all the jewels, so my friends say, okay, we're wearing jewelry, too. I also just started getting into wigs that are really fun to experiment with. I haven't done this before, so it's pretty new to me, but I'm so into it. For example, I like to choose the hairstyle and hair color. I just think it's so dope. It's a bit on the more challenging side to do, but it's still so cool. Hello Beauty at her Beauty Basics BYRDIE: What are some of your beauty essentials right now? The products that you always have on you? BT: I always wear something for my lips, so obviously Bertha's bees. Now I'm wearing the brand's lipstick in the Russet River. I love dark berries and I'm really into purple, especially for summer. And I usually always hei spray Evian or oxygenating spray. There's one of Kate Somerville who just sprays oxygen and acid into my face, so I use that on days when I don't wear makeup. I go out a lot without face makeup, but I still always wear some kind of lip and stuff for my skin to keep my skin healthy. BYRDIE: Very off-duty model. So speaking of Bert's bees, the new campaign is all about accepting your individuality. What other ways do you express your uniqueness through beauty? BT: Campaigning is a love of nature - love for yourself, love for yourself, love for yourself and not being afraid to say it. That's why we get it so active, hashtags on #lovingyournature social platform and say what you love about yourself. This is one of the best parts. We all spend so much time in the mirror going on, I hate it, I hate it, I want to fix it. And it's like, we don't spend enough time going, Wow, I love my face! I love my outfit! I like the way I look! That's what we're really trying to get to. BYRDIE: What's the one thing you love about your own features? BT: I wouldn't say that's what I'd brag about. I've talked about my dyslexia before. It's so hard when you're so bullied at school, and now I'm just, like, even when I go on , I'm not afraid to be like, yes, I'm dyslexic. Yes, I have a reading disorder. Yes, I'm fine with that. I put this post is a photo of my magazine and it's all sh-t spelled wrong, but like, I don't care; I'm not trying to impress you guys. I don't post this for you, I post this for everyone out there to be like, Wow, she doesn't care. She likes it. She loves herself. Good job. Look at it; she prides herself on what she has.
