I don't know why, but I had a breakdown and so overreacted. I wanted to go back to red. What is your beauty routine like? I got up. I wash my face. I use a pink Neutrogena grapefruit to wash and then I use daily puff pores. I really love Neutrogena's Sleek Color Stick in a very berry. It's natural and moisturizes, and it just goes really light. I also love Aquaphor. It's the best way to go. Then I either put my hair in a ponytail or leave it down in its natural wave, which is pretty pressive. I'm wearing jeans and a T-shirt. What's the craziest beauty thing you had to do for the role? I was working on the set of Amityville and they were doing the wounds on my face and they used this sugar and blood cleansers and I had all. They're on my cheeks, on my forehead, on my chin, over my lip, on my eyebrows, all over my face. It's all kinds of ratchet. And it's just totally scared of my skin. I've had thousands of bumps. And they clean it with oil and alcohol, so it's like the worst thing you could do for your skin. I had to go to Dr. Lancer's, so I finally got my skin back on track. But these wounds look realistic. It's so cool. I really love doing these scenes. Sometimes I just like to try new things. I get things sent to me from some of the best brands of all time. I'm so lucky that I get to try my stuff and work it out in my Snapchat story and tell everyone what's new, what I like and what I don't like. I didn't really get the tricks out of the set. you know the movie very, very different. You're literally just just under the eyes is concealer and mascara and they won't put anything else on you, so I don't get a lot of lessons this way. I watch a lot of tutorials on Instagram. I just started after all the new cool bloggers who are after this kind of stuff, so I learned some things from there. Sometimes I look after Tumblr or Pinterest, and sometimes I see something like, hey, what is it? Let me see if I can try to re-create that in some way. So that's how I do it. BYRDIE: Do you have a favorite makeup account that you follow? BT: Hold on, let me go on my Insta... Jeffrey Star. I love it on Insta. He has so many great Instagrams and his stuff is very beautiful. Besides, Hood beauty- I follow her. She sells such great products and does really interesting things. BYRDIE: What are some of your favorite makeup trends right now? Are there any favorites? BT: It's so weird. I don't like it when people are lashing out, so you see short ones on the outside. I say: Why? Why would I do that? Why do I want this eyelash to look so short? It doesn't even make sense. I think it's for a baby eye doll? I'm not really down for this look. I have almond-shaped eyes, so I'm all about a fierce cat eye-type look. Even if I make a smoky eye, it will still have a very cat shape to it. I'm also not a fan of lip gloss. It's just not my style. I never wear lip gloss. I don't like the texture; I don't like it being in my hair all the time. I always turn my hair back and forth, so it's horrible. Now, what do I like? I learned this trick that is really interesting. You know when you put eyeliner in your waterliner to the bottom? So, instead of completely going all the way around, start at the outer edge of your water line and stop; Then go to the other side of the eye and just leave the middle part white. Then fill it with a nude liner. Basically it just makes the ends of the eye look sharper, but the middle part is still open. What you're doing is lining it all up closes your eyes. You sew your eyelashes, and everything looks smaller. So you leave the middle of it white or nude, so you still have a big eye, but he is still sexy and feline. @bellathorne experiment with BYRDIE makeup: It's such a good trick! What is your favorite makeup you've ever done on yourself? BT: It's hard! There was one I posted on my Instagram where I was like, I'll be creating this look on my Snapchat soon. These images usually depict young women hounded by paparazzi cameras that are most likely drunk or high and half naked after a wild night of partying (Doyle, 2017). These girls then become the emblem of celebrity, bad girl femininity (Doyle, 2017; Kiefer, 2016). The trainwreck is always a woman and is usually subject to extra attention in the limelight (Doyle, 2017). Trainwrecks are in demand; almost everything they do becomes front page news, especially if their actions are seen as scandalous, defamatory, or insane. The exponential growth of the internet in the early 2000s created new avenues of interest in celebrity life, including that of social media, gossip blogs, online tabloids, and collections of paparazzi snapshots (Hamad & Taylor, 2015; Mercer, 2013). What resulted was 24/7 media access into the trainwreck’s life and their long line of outrageous, commiserable actions (Doyle, 2017). Kristy Fairclough coined the term trainwreck in 2008 as a way to describe young, wild female celebrities who exemplify the ‘good girl gone bad’ image (Fairclough, 2008; Goodin-Smith, 2014). While the coining of the term is rather recent, the trainwreck image itself is not; in their book titled Trainwreck, Jude Ellison Doyle postulates that the trainwreck classification dates back to feminism’s first wave with Mary Wollstonecraft (Anand, 2018; Doyle, 2017).

A lawsuit filed by Lisa-Maria Carter, 46, claims Dr. Larry Glazerman mistakenly sliced through her small bowel when carrying out the procedure in Tampa, Florida and sewed her up without realising. The suit claims that necrotizing fasciitis bacteria lurks in the intestine harmlessly but can cause infections if it is pierced - which caused a massive infection, internal damage and limb loss for Carter.
