Job Title: Artistic Director Salary: Circa. £45,000 Location: , Fareham or Hours: 37 per week Type of Contract: Permanent

As Cultural Trust’s Artistic Director you will have the opportunity to create the vision for combined arts across HCT and bring this to life through the programme within our three arts centres; the West End Centre, Ashcroft Arts Centre, and Forest Arts Centre. Your vision will guide the development of HCT’s artistic strategy and your leadership will support the venues to deliver a vibrant and progressive combined arts programme in their local communities.

This role offers the freedom to experiment with new art forms, partnerships and commissions to grow audiences, earned income and external funding opportunities in pursuit of a year-round programme of live performance, participatory arts experiences and outreach projects.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders, including local government, national funding bodies and other arts organisations and venues, to help raise the profile and resilience of the arts across the county.

Reporting to the Head of Culture Hubs you will be a proven and accomplished leader able to inspire your operational and venue teams to deliver outstanding customer and audience experiences.

The base for this role will be agreed with the successful candidate, and could be any of the HCT arts centres in Aldershot, Fareham and New Milton. This role will require regular travel to each arts centre and other partners and stakeholders across Hampshire.
