Rottet Studio at DINING BY DESIGN Lauren Rottet’s sophisticated style featured with a tablescape in New York

NEW YORK, March 14, 2018 -- Award-winning interior architect Lauren Rottet, FAIA, FIIDA, and founding principal and president of Rottet Studio, debuts a table at the annual DINING BY DESIGN fundraiser for DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS that incorporates her unique aesthetic inspired by art, fashion and commercial design. The purplish-blue chamber she has designed features textured surfaces that highlight Dutch still-life, botanicals and a floral installation that gesture toward tradition while adding a futuristic flourish. “In lavender fields under midnight sky, donned in blue velvet and crowned with lilac buds, we dine in monochromatic saturation, to unite in our fight against HIV/AIDS,” says Rottet.

Created in collaboration with FENDI and Donadic Construction, the table will be on view March 22 through 26 as part of DINING BY DESIGN at 's Pier 92 and co-located with the Architectural Digest Design Show.

For 25 years Rottet has designed award-winning interiors for Fortune 100 companies including offices for Bill Gates, Goldman Sachs, the NYSE, United Talent Agency and Viacom. The Texas native has also created numerous hospitality projects in her signature oeuvre for top-tier international brands including St Regis, Kimpton, Montage, Marriot and Four Seasons Hotels as well as significant residential projects. Rottet’s prestigious career began in the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) with a focus on high-rise office design. After relocating to Texas for the firm, a move to California followed where she launched an interiors practice in Los Angeles for SOM then heading to DMJMRottet, an international interiors practice. Rottet Studio debuted in 2008 in Houston, with offices now in New York, and Los Angeles where Rottet Studio renovated the Beverly Hills Hotel’s famed bungalows.
