Customs and Excise You may proceed to Customs and Excise control after reclaiming your bags. Use the red channel if you have items to declare, if not, use the green channel. For declaration guidelines, please go to this website. Airline check-in Hong Kong International Airport provides passengers with round-the-clock check-in at both Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). Click herefor Airline check-in areas to see which terminal your airline is using. T1 and T2 are linked by a central access way and by covered walkways at either end. They are within two-minute walking distance. Arriving and departing passengers have plenty of choices. The Airport Express links HKIA directly to Hong Kong's central business district and buses connect the airport with most of the city. While taxis and coaches provide additional choices for passengers, there are also limousines which take passengers to their destinations directly. Quick and comfortable, trains depart at about 10-minute intervals from 05:54 to 23:28 and approximately 12-minute intervals from 23:28 to 00:48 daily. Pubic Buses Hong Kong International Airport is well served by public bus routes, taking passengers to and from most parts of Hong Kong. Arriving passengers can pick up a taxi at the Taxi Station, which can be reached by the left-hand ramp outside the Arrivals Hall. Taxis in Hong Kong are colour-coded according to their operating areas. Separate rows are designated for different types of taxi: Urban taxis (Red) serve all destinations throughout Hong Kong including the airport except Tung Chung Road and roads in south Lantau. New Territories (N.T.) taxis (Green) serve only the New Territories and specific roads in Lantau. Lantau taxis (Blue) serve all destinations in Lantau and the airport.
